What is wrong with Lara Flynn Boyle?

These photos are alarming. Stick-thin legs, fat face, bloated abdomen. What is her medical condition? I'm glad she's married and has someone to take care of her.

If you wouldn't have told me who that was, I never would have known it. How sad. I used to think she was really hot...but not anymore.
The overdone lips and (normal) tummy poof are not as bad as the sagging jowls. Why would you be doing fillers and lip injections but not want to tuck those? They age her twenty years.

r9 can't remember but I'm always suspicious of Momanagers. Lindsay has one, Heigl, Boyle, Christian Slater, Britany Spears, etc. Every single one of those people are screwed up max.
Liver disease can cause bloating in the abdomen and muscle wasting in the limbs. No idea about the puffy face, though.

Does she lie about her age? Even in her early appearances with a normal face, she came across as being older than her stated age.
Lupus maybe? I dunno. She looks really confused in those photos and so I wonder if the BI R13 is referring to is true after all.

My goodness...that's sad. And she's quoted as saying, at 32, that her clock was ticking for roles. I mean, (1.) there aren't many well-paying roles for anyone of any age anyway, and (2.) She probably wouldn't look that much different today than at 32, if her health had remained intact.
I also want to take a moment to say that I loved her in "Happiness."
I love her kooky ex girlfriend character in Wayne's World. Funny and endearing.

Sorry, but Nicholson didn't "get her" on drugs. She was a grown woman and made her own choices. He's a shit but his reputation proceeded him and she wanted in.
I don't think anyone is saying it wasn't her fault, but he may have opened her up to the idea and not cared about her well being. In that type of situation, they are both responsible.
She would've made a good Jean Grey in a good X-Men movie back in the early 90's. I don't know why I think this.

I saw her at a club with David Spade in Scottsdale years ago. She was one of the most beautiful women that I have ever seen. It is so sad. She doesn't actually seem that bad in the Conan clip. She is coherent...just paranoid.

Funny that this thread popped up. I have been watching The Practice lately and have to say she was great as Helen Gamble. She is a pretty good actress, very sad to see her now like this. And she seems to have had quite a bitch reputation if I recall correctly, is that true?

The jowly thing she has going -- A former bulemic told me that long term bulemics develop this puffiness in their lower face due to leakage and absorption of stomach acids in the mouth and under the tongue. Something about it causes degredation in the muscle tone. With the years and gravity, hers shifted downwards. Whether this is true or not...

She was quite serious with David Spade, or so he thought. They were dating when she started screwing around with Jack Nicholson. I have seen Spade out in Scottsdale with a lot of ridiculously beautiful women, most of them really young blondes. He is cocky as hell...maybe they like the attitude? The money can't hurt either.
