Oh, Ann, stop trying so hard.

Ann Coulter calls President Obama 'retard' after presidential debate By Andrea Reiher | October 23, 2012 8:44 AM ET It's the latest bit of mud-slinging that both sides have been engaged in during the 2012 presidential debate. This time it's conservative pundit Ann Coulter insulting President Obama while complimenting Mitt Romney in a post-presidential debate tweet. She writes, "I highly approve of Romney's decision to be kind and gentle to the retard," praising Romney's perceived debate style. Preferring Romney's debate style is certainly a valid opinion, but perhaps one that could be expressed in a different way. For example, fellow conservative pundit Glenn Beck tweets, "Not the approach I would have chosen, but Romney is a better man. Came off Strong, kind, truthful. Bob S. did well. Obama looked mean." Similar opinion, better way to convey it. What this has us wondering is if Sarah Palin will go after Coulter for an apology. She has previously demanded an apology Rahm Emanuel for the use of the word "retard," while letting Rush Limbaugh slide for using the word, calling his use "satire."
