Madonna's use of guns in Colorado concert upsets audience

Madonna's use of guns in Colorado concert upsets audience By Andrea Reiher | October 19, 2012 12:40 PM ET Spme concert-goers in Colorado are upset with music superstar Madonna after the use of guns during her concert in Denver Thursday night (Oct. 18). Station KUSA-TV out of Denver says it received several calls Friday from people who were in attendance at the Madonna concert who were offended that she used guns and violence as part of her show, in light of the movie theater shooting that took place July 20 in Aurora, a suburb of Denver, that left 12 people dead. This is not something new to Madonna's show, however -- she uses the guns at every tour stop. The above picture is from a July 17 concert in London. In a statement prior to the tour, Madonna said that she does not condone the use of guns. She is using the guns as "symbols of intolerance" and "the pain [she has] felt from having [her] heart broken."
