Madonna's use of guns in Colorado concert upsets audience

Spme concert-goers in Colorado are upset with music superstar Madonna after the use of guns during her concert in Denver Thursday night (Oct. 18).
Station KUSA-TV out of Denver says it received several calls Friday from people who were in attendance at the Madonna concert who were offended that she used guns and violence as part of her show, in light of the movie theater shooting that took place July 20 in Aurora, a suburb of Denver, that left 12 people dead.
This is not something new to Madonna's show, however -- she uses the guns at every tour stop. The above picture is from a July 17 concert in London. In a statement prior to the tour, Madonna said that she does not condone the use of guns. She is using the guns as "symbols of intolerance" and "the pain [she has] felt from having [her] heart broken."

- Gun shots are actually more aurally pleasing than her voice.
- Usually it's Madonna's use of Madonna that upsets audiences.
- They can fuck off; the details of this concert have been in the press for months.
I was there. The place was packed and the show was mind-blowing.
Sure--Madonna was late, sometimes she was auto-tuned and she was provocative. That's been in the press for decades.
Bitch was right about save your pennies. It was worth every one.
GreenJeans
- I'd much rather see her flash real arms strapped her shoulder than those veiny, sinewy ones hanging from her shoulder.
- Perhaps if these people instead complained to their politicians about the need for more restrictions on firearms there wouldn't be so many mass shootings in Colorado??
- I'm not saying I wish one would go off and embed in her facial fillers...
But I wouldn't be too upset.

Oh, please. The show is a pile of horse dung. It's a frigging mess.
Janbot, meet Madbot.
- Grandma Madge is so edgy
NOT
- Still not seeing her use of guns as "symbols of intolerance" and "the pain [she has] felt from having [her] heart broken." I must not be as intellectually high-brow as dear Madge.
- Only in Madonna's mental world could "Miss Lucy Had a Tugboat" be the basis for "an edgy song" like "Gang Bang."
She is done, boys. Time for everyone to discover real music.
- R3 is one of those hideous Vadge stans who accept everything this woman does. "Oh so what I paid a lot of money for this concert and she was late, sometimes auto-tuned and her main thing is being a gimmick/contrived controversy queen."
When are people going to be over her? Her act is TIRED. I don't care if the gun theme is part of her current tour-she knows all about what happened in Colorado earlier this year. Maybe some of the people attending the concert didn't know she would incorporate guns beforehand. What if some were relatives or friends of any victims? It is insensitive of her.
- Hay I know! Vadge should sing while masturbating with a pistol! Talk about edgy!
- Madonna has to resort to these tactics because her talent and quality of music are just lacking as has always been the case...she's always been a desperate performer.
- So much hostility towards the Queen, and yet, she is continually in the news and talked about incessantly here on DL. Keep it up folks!
