- Fuck that little punk. His father IS a liar and it speaks volumes that his first reaction is to want to hit the President of the United States.
- Maybe his Dad should have made a birther reference so he could have swelled with pride.
- He's a little shit, he can go fuck himself.
- The family's religion involves accepting relatively recently created obvious lies as truth.
- But you are Mitt, you are a liar.
- Entitled little Mittens got bitch slapped by homeboy Barack and Mama Candy Crowley. Tagg thought daddy's lies and bullshit were just gonna go unchecked.
- Tagg is an entitled little white shit that needs a spanking.
- Example 3966 of "things that would cause outrage if said about any other President".
- Right, R8 it's the double standard.
- I wish he had taken a swing at the sitting President of the United States on live national television!
He'd be in Federal prison for a good long stretch and it would be hilarious.
- Oooh! Such a tough fierce young man! He should enlist and use that aggression for the good of his country...oh, wait...
He%27s%20Mitt%27s%20entitled%20spawn.
- Spoiled rotten douche whose never had a hard day in his entitled fucking life. God I hate that entire family.
- Horrid, deluded, entitled, uneducated, mercantile, lost-soul cunts.
- It's funny how rethugs screeched that anyone was a traitor if they dared criticize Dumbya, and now...
- Oh by all means, Tagg. Daddy can't win with facts so beat up the bad niggah!
- Is he the one whose balls don't work?
- Based on Tagg's violent response, he must have been raised in a single-parent household.
Kids%20Need%20a%20Mother%20and%20a%20Father
- Not a word about suggesting that his father tell the truth. That would have solved the entire problem.
- Like father like son.
Truth and honor have nothing to do with climbing to the top.
- Tagg is a miserable sick little fuck.
The weird thing is, like father like son, but George Romney, Mitt's father, was supposed to be a decent and good man.
- Some of the rightwing tweets are repulsive.
- Evil runs in the family...

- One of the Mormon faith's cornerstone beliefs is that Jesus had a brother named Lucifer. They brothers lived with Elohim (God) on one of their planets. Lucifer did something bad and was cast out of "heaven" or whatever their planet was, I forget. Before casting Lucifer out, God decided to give him a feature that would forever mark him and his decendants as evil. God gave Lucifer BLACK SKIN.
Mormons believe that people with black skin are the devil's people. Mormons believe blacks are inferior to whites because of this.
Of course Tagg wanted to slug the black man. I wish he had tried.
- "Tagg" needs to have his ass paddled, come to think of it, so does his asshole father. I don't like all this bullshit coming out on the news now about how "Democrats and republicans cannot engage in calm, rational, civilized debate"; Romney started all this bullshit by being rude, pushy, speaking overtime and interrupting in the first debate. He thought he could get away with it again in this one and had another thing coming. Obama just gave him a taste of his own medicine and Candace Crowley, I think, seemed to get her message through to Romney that she wasn't going to put up with his shit and be steamrolled like Jim Lehrer. What the fuck kind of name is "Tagg" anyway? What's with all these brain dead republicans and their fucked up names--Sarah Palin with Trig and Bristol, Romney with Tagg. Come to think of it, "Mitt" is an odd mystery too.
anon
- Tagg is short for Taggart
- PS--In Romney's case it must come from something traditionally Mormon--don't they have an angel named Moron in LDSism?
r24
- Entitled and arrogant to the point of lunacy
- Let him try, we can sic Alec on him.

- Tagg--like his douchebag father--woke up on thrid base and thought he hit a triple.
- Laughable. Even Malia can kick Tagg's weak bony ass.
- The whole family is deranged.
- Secret Service would have LOVED that one.
- Here's the AUDIO:
http://thepoliticalcarnival.net/2012/10/17/audio-tagg-romney-says-he-wanted-to-take-a-swing-at-president-obama/
- Sasha could kick that white boy's ass.
Mrs.%20Robinson
- Just imagining the "ghetto trash" comments if Sasha or Malia Obama had said the same about Romney.
- Thanks for the link r33. The listeners comments on what they think of Tagg and his father are priceless. They all read like Datalounge!
- Bill LuMay got the exact reaction he wanted!

- R21 Whereas this thread fairly brims with equanimity.
- The Romney's are vile, entitled cretins. We must keep them out of the White House at all costs.
- Just imagine for a moment how the right wing would react if Michelle. Sasha or Malia had said the exact thing about Romney.
The response would be complete insanity. They would never, ever, ever shut up about it.
- There's a difference between provocation and response, false equivalence turd brain @ R38.
- Let him go up to a group of black men and tell them he wants to slug the President and I'm sure one of them will accommodate his wish to fight.
- Mormons want to take a swing at another human being?
- Geez Tagg, I thought you might want to tackle Barack ans have your brothers hold him down so that you could shave his nappy hair.
- Thank you R42.
- That whole family is so fucking vile and spoiled rotten.
- One of Romney's other sons made a snide little birther joke and said he wanted to see Obama's college grades. Unattractive family all around.
- I agree with R47, the more we know about the Romneys, the less we like them.
Every day for four years? No thank you.
- Aw, how sweet. Kid doesn't like it when his robot daddy gets called out on his own lies.
- great thread everyone -
take R40's great point and put it in perspective - we say "if the Obama children said this..." because they wouldn't be so stupid to say it and they were raised better. But if they had, not only would this be a huge story, but pundits would be screaming on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox - with soundbytes played over and over and "panels" dissecting it, and Palin, Bachmann, Limbaugh, Beck and all the usual suspects saying it's a reflection on Obama's character and if he can't control his children he shouldn't lead the country... Republicans would go
apeshit....
But Democrats will take the high road...
- as they almost always do....
- What r50 said.
- tagg, track, trip, trig ??? WTF???
- New pic of Tagg Romney giving President Obama the stare down during the debate:
http://lanicpage.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/alien1.jpg
- Exactly, R50! Imagine the outrage if Obama had a son who said that. It would be like the Trayvon Martin case all over again. What a vile family of evil, entitled shits.

- Rich, White, and Bratty.
A%20Musical%20about%20a%20Mormon%20Family
- I always wonder why the Repugs like Romney are so visceral in their attacks of the President.Romney and his vile family act as if Obama stole something from them that they believe is rightfully theirs. To John McCain's credit,he never seemed to take the political process personally but Ann Romney looked devastated after the second debate and Mittens was completely lost-wandering around the stage like a lost mental patient-did anyone else catch that? You can tell that entire family is not used to being challenged on anything substantial and in particular by a black man!
The Romney's need to take a page from Michelle Obama's book-she never personally addresses the attack on her husband and carries on like the gracious, classy lady she was raised to be.
- Clearly the 'blacks are evil' meme isn't far removed from the Mormon religion....wasn't it only the 1970s when they allowed black members?
- Who is the man sitting in front of Matt?
- They should all suffocate on their own hypocrisy.
- On top of it, Romney was the one that was the physical aggressive bully in both debates. Trying to get in Obama's space and trying to talk over both moderators - and getting away with it completely in the first debate.
The psycho son is mad if anyone dares to question the raging bully.
- Reminds of the old white guy who slaps Tibbs in "In The Heat Of The Night"...
They call me MISTER President...
- And yet no news report I read mentioned Romney being "disrespectful" or "aggressive." Not a one. But they sure raked Biden over the coals.
- The reason we haven't seen much news media express outrage at the lack of respect for POTUS is because we haven't. The damned Republicans spinmeisters scream like scalded cats every time the Dems look like they are thinking about being disagreeable. But we just take it.
I say we need to do what the Dems leaders don't do for themselves. Kerry was on TV, Rendell was on TV, lots of them were on TV, but not one of them really hit the lack of respect hard.
Joe Scarborough did. Chris Matthews did. Al Sharpton did. But we need to raise hell. We ned to let the Obama spinners and operatives know that they need to speak up for the President.
If the Public doesn't hear our outrage, you can't expect too many of them to conclude that behavior is unacceptable on their own. They feel like it's acceptable.
John McCain stopped a woman in her tracks for calling Obama an "Arab" and un American, but today, the people who encourage that kind of rotten racist garbage are in charge. ANd Romney is the most culpable.
The majority of the public needs to be on the same page as we are, and they need to be led there. If you are waiting for the media to do the right thing on their own, you will be waiting until Judgement Day. We should have pressured CNN, ABC, NBC, & CBS. Fox is hopeless and MSNBC is doing all they can.
- We could go viral with the ugliness of MItt. We could call out the Romney campaign for their racism and their disrespect. I mean we could do something. I am over waiting for other people to "do something." We need to put ourselves in thsi picture. These people are trying everything they can to intimidate voters. They are desperate. If the culture allows the to get in the President's face, what makes you think they will be gentlke with us?
- It irks me when people answer a question in second person that is meant to be addressed in first person. 'How did YOU feel...?' 'Well, YOU want to run up...'
People use that response to make it seem like it's a statement we can all relate to. No, Tagg, when someone disagrees with me or someone I know, it's not my impulse to hit them.
- Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent
A man much wiser than "Tagg" (WTF???)
- If Tagg the tough guy is feeling so feisty, it's time he serves in Afghanistan.
Right. I thought not.
- I agree R64 and R65. I do what I can using social media, and I write letters to networks, newspapers, email pundits (anybody know why Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post gets to spew forth without including her email address? Every other contributor does).
I'll keep fighting to be heard and I hope others will as well.
- [quote]"Tagg" needs to have his ass paddled
I'll do. Please. Please let me spank that naughty boy. He's been a bad boy and I want to spank his little bottom.
- We already know they advocate violence when they don't get their way (under the guise of the 2nd Amendment, of course).
Gabrielle%20Giffords

- R70 = Larry Craig
- Tagg. What an unusual name for a child.
Sarah Palin
- I think he's tremendous!
S.%20Palin
- You'd think he'd rather take a swing at Mitt, for naming him Tagg.
- He needs to be gagged with some big, hard, black cock
- Time to gagg Tagg.
- Gag that maggot Tagg with hag sag.
- Tagg, like Bristol, is defending his parent. I don't why these trashy, "clannish" types do this.
- Barbara Walter just said she's going to ask Josh Romney about this when The View returns from commercial.
- R38? I'm R21 and I was referring to the fact that they were not only defending that asshole's comment, they also wished they could join him in hitting the president.
Now unless you can find comments from the children of Dem nominees saying they would like to punch the Rep president of the US and people wishing they could join those Dem kids, you've made no point. Just the usual bullshit we've grown accustomed to hearing from the right.
These assholes were fine with the president "taking it" from that sleazeball in the first debate. They were fine with that snake lying and not being called out for it, but boy did that sense of entitlement kick in for the second round when the president of the fucking US had the audacity to call out that scumbag's lies. HOW DARE HE NOT ALLOW MITT TO LIE ABOUT HIS ROSE GARDEN STATEMENT???
If Obama were the nom and told Bush (for ex.) that he should "wait his turn" to speak, what would the scum on the right have to say about it? Oh, but Obama was the "rude" one. Mitt hasn't won shit, he isn't president, he's a liar and a rude, vile motherfucker... but the president was the one that was out of line?
If Obama wins, I hope his first act is to declare the GOP an insane asylum, so every member gets the psychiatric help they so desperately need.
- 4 Presidents have been shot dead.
Countless Presidents have been attacked, yet survived.
Tagg is not like you or me - he has closer access to President Obama.
He should be banned from all election/campaign events, certainly banned from the next debate.
- Maybe we should go on twitter and start a campaign regarding Tagg's comments. Wonder how many people even know he said it!
- Do it, R85. I'll retweet.
Also, perhaps a "group" on Facebook too--all you need is to form the group, then people can "like" it and it will show up on the feeds.
- Wow-the are over 10,000 comments on this at that website I refuse to name.
Wasn't Tagg supposed to be responsible for 'softening' his father's image? And can you Imagine having to look at three generations of unruly Romneys if this sociopath is elected?
The%20Seamus%20of%20it%20all%21
- Aaron Shock and Lyin' Ryan need to tag team Tagg!
- This shouldn't surprise anyone. Afterall, Willard beat up gay kids when he was in school. Tagg - do Teathuglicans draw these names out of Sarah Palin's drawers? - is only a product of his upbringing. Apparently, there is a Mormon bully gene. If Tagg has that much frog in him, he go right ahead. He might walk over to the President, but he's going to limp back.

- The Romney clan is a fascinating and revealing insight into Mormonism.
- I can't wait to hear the media spin spin spin this. "It was only a joke", "There were a lot of people threatening violence on Mitt" (although no one closely related to the opposing candidate)
- They BOTH do it!!!
Fucknut%20Media%20
- "There were a lot of people threatening violence on Mitt"
I know r91 - they always say this shit but can't list examples of liberals threatening conservatives with violence, outside of some obscure movie about Bush's assassination (that I never would have heard about if it wasn't for them).
- "I always wonder why the Repugs like Romney are so visceral in their attacks of the President.Romney and his vile family act as if Obama stole something from them that they believe is rightfully theirs."
That is precisely the issue. Ever since Reagan's administration, the Republicans have increasingly looked at the White House as an entitlement to "correct" all of the progressiveness of the 60's and 70's. That explains the non-stop hostility to Clinton.
At this point, that sense of entitlement is downright pathological, and it wasn't helped by Karl Rove's frequent braying about a "GOP Dynasty" during the Bush/Cheney years.
So it was bad enough that they lost back in 2008, but now they're struggling to win a contest that they thought would be a slam-dunk for them due to the economy (and it would be payback for Clinton thrashing Bush Sr. in a similar situation).
Plus all the rich people funding the Super-PACS are pissed off because they don't like the idea that they may not get a good return on their investment if Romney blows it (see Jack Welch's insane comments about the job #s).
When you combine all that with Right wing pundits like Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham saying the GOP should pack it in if they can't win the White House this year, and all of the barely concealed frustration within the GOP due to the Tea Party extremists.....well, you've got quite a kettle boiling right now.
That and the Romneys have their own sense of entitlement on top of what the GOP already has.
- Don't you love that they think some old jackass in a racist T-shirt about putting the "white back in the WH" would be a plant? Yes, because we haven't witnessed years of outrageous and bigoted comments from even those who have a lot of power in that shit party, let alone the trash who show up to the rallies.
We didn't witness even the higher ups give into the birthers for a very long time before they started to call them out.
- [quote]I always wonder why the Repugs like Romney are so visceral in their attacks of the President.
You have to ask why THIS president would receive such visceral disrespect?
I'm slightly amused at my white friends who are finally realizing how much racism exists in this country. People who see their friends and family- who had previously voted Democrats- making all kinds of ridiculously THIN excuses to vote for Romney. THIS is racism and it is what the GOP is fostering and fully blatantly courting. IT is the most base and yet most predictable target audience.
- If only Tagg's parents had been married he might not resort to violence so easily....
oh wait.
- Tweets:
[quote]Elon James White @elonjames
Tagg Romney wants to swing on POTUS cause he called his dad on his bullshit. White ppl are so violent--Maybe he needs a 3 parent household.
[quote]Mark McLain @MarkMcLain
"I was so mad I wanted to outsource someone to go up and slap the President" - Tagg Romney @GOPLOL #Election2012
- Well didn't Karl Rove say something ugly about that cretin Akins? I can't remember what he said only that it was violent & inappropriate. The point is, Tagg's comment is part of the same culture and it is emblematic of the people who are attempting to gain control of our government.
These things need to be placed in context. Yes, it is of a piece with Romney bullying a fellow high school student because he thought he was gay. The Romneys with all there pretensions to respectability are just exactly like the crude, coarse, ignorant people they seek to represent.
- It wouldn't surprise me one bit if someone from Romney's camp tried to get in Obama's face to shove him or tell him off. The damned Secret Service is not only repsonsible to keep our President from harm, they are also responsible for making sure there are no embarrassing incidents. Even if it involves someone important.
- Oh those are good, R98!
Who is this Elon James White fellow? I want to "follow" him.
- R98, and now that guys is getting idiots tweeting him about being racist because they appear to miss the point of his comment.
His response:
[quote]Elon James White @elonjames Quick lesson: Me making a joke about "violent white people" does not create or enforce systemic labeling & treatment of whites as violent.
- Well I guess I gotta get on there and do some work then.
I hope you have tweeted support as well.
- They just covered this on Andrea Mitchell's mid-day MSNBC show.
They played the audio, where Taggart acknowledges he couldn't really do it.
"But you know you can't do that because, well, first because there's a lot of Secret Service between you and him, but also because this is the nature of the process. They're gonna try to do everything they can do to try to make my dad into someone he's not."
This won't go far, sadly.
- [quote]This won't go far, sadly.
You mean you HOPE it doesn't.
This needs to be exposed as another example of why this family is not fit to be the First Family.
- When will the play the audio tape of ROmney and the businessmen he asked to coerve their employees to vote for him? It has taken on the aspects of a movement withoin his campaign as more & more CEOs announce their intentions. Of course none of these people know the law or ever had a civics lesson. I say burn them all.
- No, r105, that's not what I meant at all, which I'm sure you know because you're probably intelligent enough to read and comprehend.
r104
- r23, Mormon theology is actually even worse than all that. Mormons believe that there was a war in heaven that essentially came down over competing theories about "free will" between the two brothers Jesus and Lucifer. The "third of the heavenly host" described in the Revelation of St. John describes what happened to the losing side (Lucifer). Those people were all cast out before this world began.
The people (at this point "spirit children"; our pre-existence) who were "less valiant" in the war in heaven were born marked with dark skin. Those who were particularly heroic were people who were born into seriously Mormon families, probably wealthy ones, like Mitt Romney.
So from Mitt's POV, if he actually believes all that shit, he has already demonstrated his superiority over Obama because he was heroic and valiant in a war he can't remember before he was born in which dark-skinned Obama was clearly a weak and cowardly sort. (Though maybe not as much so as, say, his much darker skinned wife.) Tagg shares the same view.
As for the blacks couldn't join the Mormon church thing: they could, but black males couldn't hold the priesthood that all other males hold. Black skin is not only evidence of lack of valiant warmongering as a spirit child in heaven, but is the mark of Cain. Before black men could hold the priesthood, all generations that would have been born through Abel (had he not been killed by Cain) had to be born. This conveniently occurred in the 1970s, when the church was getting much bad press for its racism.
Why this all hasn't become a bigger issue in this campaign is evidence of how bought and paid for the "liberal" mainstream media really is. If Obama held similarly crazy beliefs, they would never have stopped reporting them in 2008. Not to mention: so you have free will because that was what Jesus wanted and his side won, but if you exercised it before you were born, you will be born on this planet black and if you happened to be born black before you or your husband could have access to the priesthood, you could never realize your full potential on this earth.
- [quote]Why this all hasn't become a bigger issue in this campaign is evidence of how bought and paid for the "liberal" mainstream media really is. If Obama held similarly crazy beliefs, they would never have stopped reporting them in 2008.
