2012%20Poll%20Troll- Women have seriously lost their friggin minds by putting Romney within three points of Obama.
Romney doesn't want to hire them. He doesn't want to pay them the same as men. And Romney doesn't want to give them the right to decide their own reproductive health.
Women, for christssakes, smarten up!
- Poll Troll-
It is unlike you to cite a poll out of context.
This was a limited sampling of voters in Colorado.
You're usually much more restrained and reasonable.
- Obama has to keep hammering home what a Romney presidency would mean for women because apparently they're not paying close enough attention.
- R2, I had already previously stated that on my previous thread, and the link in my OP also shows it is a Colorado poll.
I don't really think it matters a great deal anyway, to be honest.

- The results for "White Voters" and "Men" has me incredulous. How can ANYONE think that Romney won?
Just how racist are the people they're interviewing in those categories? Because that's the ONLY reason I can think of that they'd be unable to recognize the reality that Obama won.
- That number with women ought to be a lot higher. WTF is up with that?
- Remember that this is Colorado - it's a purple state, not a blue state.
Those are pretty good numbers for Obama in CO. He won amongst all demographics except whites, and in that one it was basically tied.

- You guys are putting way too much energy on meaningless numbers.
PPP polled only 438 voters, of which 31% were independents. That means the number of independent voters was just 136. With such a small sample size the margin of error is huge.
Ditto with respect to the results by other subgroups such as Hispanics, men, women, etc.
There will be a deluge of polls soon enough with much larger sample sizes. In the meanwhile, do your best to shape the narrative and insist to anyone that will listen that you thought it was Obama wiped the floor with Romney.
- R8, obviously one should not base anything on one poll, but what we are seeing tonight is a consensus across all pollsters and networks that Obama won.

- R9, I said nothing of the kind. But feel free to have straw man debates with yourself if you like.
You have a hard time admitting you're wrong or that you don't understand something, don't you?
- R8. Small sample or not, women supporting Romney is asinine.
He couldn't even answer the question about women receiving equal pay for equal work. Is that so difficult to articulate a simple, affirmative response?
- Gallup breaks down regional support.
East: Obama +4,
Midwest: Obama +4,
West: Obama +6,
South: Obama -22
- R10, what are you bitching at the 2012 Poll Troll about? You're not making any sense so just shut the hell up.
2012 PT, you perform an invaluable service to the DL and we thank you for it.
- I second R13, thank you Poll Troll for keeping us updated and informed.
