US PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE: PART DEUX THREAD: PART DEUX
We're about to fill up our first second US presidential debate thread. We'll continue here.
Let's head to the CNN poll and vote for President Obama as being the better debater.
The poll is at the bottom of the page on the right.

- Politico poll is up...go vote

- What happened to the other thread, it says it doesn't exist? I came here to see what went on.
- For fuck's sake, you morons.
Those are not polls.
Get a fucking grip.
- Romney died tonight.
- DL: The other presidential debate thread does exist! At least let us read the posts even if we can't add anything more.
- Almost all polls are saying that Obama won the debate tonight. However, there are some polls that are saying Romney lost by up to 20 points; others saying he only lost by four points.
Excuse me, Romney lost by a hell of a lot more than four frigging points. Who are these undecided idiots saying that Romney came anywhere close tonight? Shitt clearly lost big time.
- George Will:
“It was a very good fight,” he added. “I have seen every presidential debate in American history since the floor of Nixon and Kennedy in 1960. This was immeasurably the best.”
“I think as a tactical measure tonight, the president did very well,” he concluded

- Obama: "Gov, Romney doesn't have a five-point plan. He has a a one-point plan."
HA!
Chris Matthews
- Wolfie Blitzer just said that Obama had a "slight edge" but for all intent it was a draw.
- Wolf is pushing for Romney.
- I knew that Wolf would say that. If Romney had been curled in the fetal position under the podium, Wolf was going to say that.
- Wolf Blitzer's breasts are flopping in the wind.
- I heard that the Obama campaign is sending Candy Crowley 2 dozen Crispy Cremes!

- The candidate who is viewed as the winner the night before - even by margins of 5, 10 or more points - is viewed as the winner by a larger margin in the morning.
Anyone remember the first post-debate snap poll that had Romney with a slight lead?
The next morning is was characterized as a total Obama fail.
- Poll Troll 2012 where are you?
Are you going to weigh in? I look forward to you as much as I look forward to Rachel Maddow.
- lol, no
CNN has admitted it oversampled Republicans tonight
They're so desperate. Everyone knows it was a massacre
- Good evening, Mr. Romney. Welcome back to Bane.
- CNNs poll has no credibility at all.
- hump
- The ratings for "State of the Nation," Candy Crowley's Sunday morning political show, just went through the roof. Bitch.
David Gregory waving "it's me guys" at Meet The Press
- Once again, people need to flood CNN and all of their people's twitter feeds
- See Barack how well things go...when you do your homework like a good little boy?
Now you can stay up well past your bedtime and watch television tonight.
Professor Jill Biden
- Howard Fineman: "You saw Mitt Romney for who he really was there - a cold blooded guy who thought he was moving in for the "political kill" shot and he was wrong. You could see it in his eyes."
- CNN says Obama won.
- You have to see this picture of Romney's face during the debate:

- From the other debate thread, but I thought it was funny and worth repeating:
"Please proceed, Governor" is the new "Fuck you."
- I posted it on the other thread, but I'll repeat it here:
Watching the undecideds on MSNBC made me seriously doubt democracy. Bill Maher has it right about these moronic low-information voters. I mean, good god. And they'll decide the election!
- The undecideds featured on MSNBC tonight--are still undecided!!
Well, one decided on Obama. One decided on Romney. And the others on the panel remain undecided. One even said that she wanted to wait until the foreign policy debate. Okay, sweetie.
And the other idiot said she didn't mind so much about the equal pay for equal work--and that maybe Romney would address that issue again in the next debate--yes, the foreihn policy debate.
What a friggin bunch of morons.
- Why doesn't the media just dismiss these undecided idiots--or at least challenge them and ask them tough issues-oriented questions and show their ignorance?
Because when you corner them and ask them a question, their idiocy shines through. They really have no answers and cannot justify the indecisiveness.
- Romney: "I've been in business for 25 years!"
Big fucking deal
- Has Donald Trump weighed in on his richey rich Romeny yet?
Hmmm, I wonder how that orange-faced douchebag will spin this wipeout for his douchebag Repug candidate?
- [quote]Has Donald Trump weighed in on his richey rich Romeny yet?
He tweeted that Obama did better than last time but Romney still won.
Idiot.
Dustin
- r32: He keeps repeating that line in every public appearance!
It's as though he really believes being a corporate tycoon entitles him to this position. "I've done it my whole life!" IT'S NOT THE SAME THING.
- I agree R30, I'm sick to death of all the fawning over those idiots who still can't figure out who's best for them after ALL THIS TIME. These are people who are not very bright and it's a waste of everyone's time for the media to be catering to them.
- The only thing Obama didn't do to Mitt is tackle him, hold him down and cut his hair.
- What do Obama and Romney say to each other when they first walk onto the stage and shake hands?
They seem to chit-chat for a bit, but reports are that they really don't like each other.
- forget CNN. the real fun is watching the mummified freaks over at FOX. Frank Luntz and his focus group of alleged past Obama supporters is the mottliest crew of rubes, boobs and goobers I've ever seen. central casting right out of Deliverance. they think Obama is weak, hasn't kept his promises, he lied to them, blah, blah, blah. Luntz asked them if they think Romney is "shady". They yelled "NO". When they were asked who they are voting for they yelled "Romney". Yeah, riiight.
- damn.
- Well I have a rabid Republican on my FB who has opined that Romney is just saving it all for the last debate. He laid back on this one so he can level Obama in the last one. I thought that was hilarious.
- In a re-election year, "undecided" voter generally means "give me just enough to justify voting for the other guy"
- Candy Crowley's hair reminded me of Bert Lahr's lion in The Wizard of Oz.
- Whenever I see Mitt in a debate I'm reminded of this scene from Witness For the Prosecution.
