It couldn't have gone better for him.
What a relief!
OP...no over-confidence!!
Obama was riding high two weeks ago until that first debate when he fucked up big time. Obama needs to perform at the next debate just like he did tonight--or even better--at the next debate.
Nothing is ever in the bag, OP.
There are still a lot of close polls and a lot of close states.
We will need more polling data in the week to come to properly assess the situation.
2012%20Poll%20Troll
Poll Troll, I appreciate your caution but this was a massacre.
The next debate is foreign policy and that is the exact topic with which Obama ended the election tonight.
OP...nothing is in the bag.
We're still waiting for a about two friggin percent of idiots in Ohio to make up their goddamn minds.
There is one more debate and a couple of weeks to go. I'm glad the enthusiasm is back, but please be cautious. Nothing is in the bag until November 6 at 11ish.
I think OP is just countering freeper-froth of which we've been plagued of late.
In that respect, it's OK to show a little confidence.
He motivated the base, appealed to women and won back some independents.
He'll probably swing back to a two-point lead.
If he keeps Ohio, he wins.
I cast my ballot in Florida today, so fuck you, Mitt.
OP,
We didn't anticipated the perceived bombing that was the October surprise: President Obama's first presidential debate performance for 2012.
Let's see what this latest does in the polls.
Caution
Let us now forget the retaliatory strikes on Libyan targets which will take place the day before or the day of the next debate.
I suspect the Obama campaign has a couple of cards left to play.
I have alot of confidence that Obama will win but we still need to be cautious.
I can't wait for this to be over.
While you're waiting, donate.
If you can't donate, volunteer.
There are many different ways to volunteer--one very low stress example is delivering snacks to people who are working phone banks or to the people doing door-to-door canvassing.
