If I'm a twink looking for a daddy 15-20 years older, how should I go about landing one? Where should I go? Any tips would be great.
Ask your mother.
Hang out at the baths.
Seriously, just go to a gay bar and find one. Or find a gay book club. Try Grindr or Craigslist. The world is pretty much your oyster if you're a twink looking for a daddy, as long as you're not too picky.
You could probably find a daddy on DataLounge, although he might be 20-40 years older, unemployed and not hot.
seriously? daddy hunt...
Skip all of what R4 suggested. Just hang out at a bathhouse wearing only a towel.
You will find one at the end of the night
daddyhunt.com is designed for that (and heavy on daddies rather than twinks in my experience)
I'd say grindr is better though. The gym works too.
Eight posts in and no obligatory "This thread is useless without (OP) pics"?
actually I meant to say Scruff is better. Grindr skews a little young.
"I'm OP and I'm and alcoholic."
How do I find a daddy who is going pay for everything?
Someone should start a site called daddyfinder.
If it's more of a sugardaddy you're looking for they find you.
The Townhouse in NY.
Daddies seem to be the new thing these days. Several of my friends have shacked up with daddies and are as happy as can be. They don't have to work or anything, just living the dream.
I'm a daddy (well, at 62 maybe a GRANDdaddy) and I wouldn't mind finding some younger guy who would live with me and take care of stuff. I'd gladly take him along on all my travels and pay him a small salary in addition to free room and board. I'm thinking a Latino immigrant would be a good choice. I'm retired and have a good pension and am fairly well off. Where should I look?
Honestly R18? The easiest way is if you knew some young gay guys, they might have friends who are struggling to make ends meet.
Try just putting up a serious craiglist posting saying you are looking for a houseboy. You will have to filter through a lot of crazies no doubt but you will probably end up finding what you are looking for.
Spread honey on your asshole and casually lower your pants at Zuni Cafe.
A nice 35-38 year old attorney would be the perfect daddy. We would live on the UWS and I would get my real estate license or something.
A manhattan corporate attorney in his mid thirties?
You should be setting your sights on some retired elder gay, they are the people who would honestly most likely be interested in this type of arrangement.
Be bold, go to the gym and let him know clearly and directly what you seek.
The gym allows him to see you naked first and decide if you are worth the trouble.
I want one who has money and is not afraid to share it.
The two seem to be mutually exclusive, R26.
Rich men spend your money.
Blue collar guys splurge.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
