Gene Simmons the latest celebrity to endorse Romney calling Obama 'A Piss-Poor President'

“The country is so divided. I voted for President Obama last time but I have to say I’m very disappointed in his job,” he said. “He’s been a piss-poor president, as far as I’m concerned,” the rocker added. In regards to GOP candidate Romney, Simmons acknowledges that he may not agree with him on every issue, “but I will tell you that he’s much more qualified.” He explained that he believes Romney’s credentials are stronger: “He’s a businessman, he ran the Olympics. …He knows how to create jobs. President Obama is a wonderful family man. And that’s about where the résumé stops.”

• It's all about the Taxes. He grew up poor so Simmons has the first dollar he ever made and made it more than clear on his reality show that's all that drives him.

• I worked with a bunch of famous rock bands in the 80's and 90's and I'm SHOCKED at how many of the members are Republicans now. It's weird.

• First, Obama hasn't been a "piss poor" President. Not by any measure. Second, things that HAVEN'T gotten done in his first term can be laid at the feet of the obstructionist Republicans in Congress, and the most recent "DO-NOTHING" Republican house. Third, even if Obama were a "bad" President, there is not ONE SINGLE ISSUE where Romney is an improvement. Even if you don't like Obama, what's the point in replacing him with someone even worse?

Hoagy Carmichael is a personal favorite, so I was disappointed reading a short bio which indicated the same sort of thing. He grew up poor. His sister died young and Carmichael admitted it was because they were poor. And still he was a tight-fisted anti-tax guy like Simmons.
