Swinging Richard's, Gay Male Strip Club, Wins Battle Against North Miami Beach Allowing Nude Dancing

A North Miami Beach-based gay male strip club has won a battle against the city, allowing its dancers to continue performing in the nude. South Florida Gay News reports that North Miami Beach's city council has voted unanimously to "grandfather in" nude dancing for Swinging Richard’s, as well as Dean’s Gold and G5, two straight strip clubs.

• Is it related to Swinging Richard's in Atlanta? Never been there, but I was at some clubs in North Miami Beach (Zippers?), FTL (Boardwalk), and W. Palm Beach (Cabaret something?) some years ago. All but the one in FTL had full nudity. But those kinds of places tend to burn out after a few years.

• The one in Atlanta is great. The guys there are SO hot. I was in the VIP area quite a bit the last time I was there.

• I've been to both (though the ATL one was a VERY long time ago... more than ten years). I liked the FTL one better.

• Though Swinging Richards delivers the goods, Fort Lauderdale strip bars The Boardwalk and Johnny's - which require their dancers to cover up - are much more popular.

• R23, that's only because they're far less expensive. I went to both and... most of the guys are between 'okay' and 'scary'. While the guys at Swinging Richards were PREMO.

• Last time I visited Johnny's, they were all twinks, which is not my scene. Boardwalk had a few hotties, though.

• Are any of the dancers for rent? At the Gaiety in NYC, they were ALL for rent. Stripping = Advertising.
