What an awful surname, she should've changed it. When was Meryl fucking some guy named Gummer anyway? I had no idea who it was until I googled. Unless it's a comedy, the show sounds boring.
The head writer is Jennie Snyder who reinvigorated 90210, and wrote the better Gilmore Girls episodes as well as Men in Trees. It might be good, I think she's a good tv writer.
All the commercials make it look like Ally Mcbeal except with an even homlier lead-no thanks.

Funny how Mamie is somewhat blah and yet Lily Rabe is doing really fine work. You would almost think it would be the other way around and I hate to state that.
I wonder what Gwyneth Paltrow thinks of Mamie and Lily because she was there first in a fashion.
Maybe one day they will all work together? Who knows.
Lily Rabe = Jill Clayburgh's daughter, perhaps best know for American Horror Story, where she played the 1920s Frankenstein baby's mother. That's where I know her from anyway. She'll also be back for season 2 as a different character.
