Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh
Well, it's better than Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly.

- Yikes that wig!!!
- She's the one they call "Mouth Breather," right?
- I'm confused by what this movie is about. Hitchcock had a dramatic obsession with Tippi hedren, and they're making that into the plot of "The GirL" on HBO: but what was dramatic about the filming of 'Psycho'?
- I don't think that's a wig, R1.
- Not only does she not look much like Leigh, her makeup is wrong. She should have much more eye liner, and some subtle lip liner to define the upper lip.
Of course what she really needs is a chin, but makeup can only do so much.
- She resembles Hitchcock's daughter, the one in STRANGERS ON THE TRAIN.
- I kind of like the wig.
- Hitchcock only had one daughter.
Again: what is the dramatic angle on his screenplay? I can't figure it out.
- No resemblance whatsoever.
- The ill-fitting shape of the wig is in tribute to Janet Leigh in Bye Bye Birdie.
I'm not sure what the angle is, but it is based on a supposedly excellent book on the making of Psycho. Helen Mirren plays Alma Hitchcock, so perhaps they're maybe going to explore how she felt about Hitchcock's obsessions.
