I have been using AstroGlide but would definitely like some recommendations. What is your favorite lube for jacking off?
It doesn't have to be condom compatible as this is about jerking off. It should just feel good on the cock.
Albolene, available at drug stores in the cosmetics aisle (as a make-up remover like cold cream) is the preferred lube of edgers and gooners everywhere. It's great for jerking and lasts a long time without evaporating, but the petroleum jelly and mineral oil ingredients cause latex condoms to fail, so don't use this product with them. There are recipes for this online if you want to make a lot of it cheaply.
ID Glide silicon lube is the only way to go. The water based stuff is easier to get out of your clothes and skin but you have to keep applying it if you are getting aggressive with a guy. Who wants to stop every 3 minutes and reapply water based lube?
What I don't like about AstroGlide is I have to keep applying it.
R9 = Betty White
For jacking off, the best is Gun Metal gel.
I hate that lube shit. I have a sliky, smooth foreskin that slides easily back and forth--so thankfully, no need for lube.
Eros or Pür
German, they do lube the best.
R13, I know some guys who have a foreskin and also like to jack off with lube. That would be like saying uncut guys prefer a dry pussy or ass.
I just use spit. Always have. Works for me!
Kiehl's Creme de Corps.
I use lotion. I hate using lube to rub one out...it keeps drying up, plus you've got quite a sticky mess afterwards. Lotion lasts a long time and it moisturizes your cock at the same time.
Possum grease, duh.
I've used Kiehls for years. It's the best.
I loved Stroke 29 when I used it. I'm weird, though. I'm uncut and don't usually use lube unless I'm jacking off a lot.
I posted about this when I discovered it but it fell off the radar pretty quickly so I'm glad to have another opportunity to spread the word: Biotene Moistening Wash for Dry Mouth. It's basically a saliva substitute, as you could guess from the name of it. It doesn't dry out or get sticky, it's super-gentle (it's made to be swished around in the mouth, so it would have to be). It has a light minty taste, but there's no "tingle" to it. The best part is a big bottle of it costs $5-$6 compared to that much for a small bottle of what is sold as lube. Better and cheaper! (No, I am not getting a kick-back from the company--I doubt a company that makes oral health products would want to be associated with any sexual use.)
Based on the two Abolene recommendations I went and got some. Gonna take it for a test drive later.
OP/r25, please do let us know the results - in great detail.
I think r25 is still edging.
I just ordered a gallon jug of Str8CAM Lube with the sanitary pump top. This stuff feels and looks like a big splooge blob of another guy's cum. It's a hybrid, so you get the best features of both silicone and water based. Safe for condoms and toys, but I just want a gooey handful for j.o.
No, I don't work for them, and haven't actually figured out who profits from the sales of this stuff. You might want to look into it. Oh, cool name too, "Str8CAM" sounds like a porn site I might visit.
Gun Oil is the best. THE BEST! Ooh Rah!
Is it weird that I'm cut but have never used anything for lube?
OP here. I got some Albolene for jacking off and it's great. Thanks for everyone who suggested it. It's definitely my new favorite jackoff lube.
A tub cost about $12.99 but it will last a long time as you only need to use a little each time. I found it in the make-up section at CVS.
It's like a very light version of oil and water-based lube. Melts into the cock but gives some great traction on the dick and feels awesome. You guys definitely need to get some.
Creme de la Mer.
Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque
Palmers Cocoa Butter Moisturing Body Oil is by far the best. Feels great, washes off easily, with pleasant scent.
I pwefer Astwoglide.
Anybody heard of pre-cum and spit?!?!
Another guys cum is hot too.
the tears of social justice warriors
just avoid the urethra, they're rather acidic.
If you're having a party, can liberate a ten gallon drum from the local park or save the effort and just have it in the part, then powdered j-lube is decent enough.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
