• Matt Walton is great with parodies and sketch comedy. He did a funny Mad Men parody a few years ago for College Humor. Definitely wasting his talent doing soaps.

• Plus Matt is smokin' hot. And on the soaps at least we got to see his hot bod. Sure better than those commercials he did for that cable/phone company - which one was that?

• I have never seen the original just the parody and this one is funny. I saw Matt Walton do Hair several years ago and play Berger....very nice naked.

• I read a really interesting article about the meaning behind original video and song. The whole thing is actually a political satire about the meaningless wealth in a depressed economy. The artist is making fun of the faux-elite who rack up their credit card with enormous debt, eat Ramen home to save and buy a 5$ cup of Starbucks out in public and strive for nothing more than to appear wealthy while their own economy ais crumbling around them. In other words- many of the Romney voters.

• Thanks for that, R15. I somehow missed this whole Gangnam style thing and when I watched the video on youtube yesterday, I was clueless. But I just watched the Romney parody and it was really funny. I probably should have watched it first. There is just such a "fuck you" tone to it.

• I keep rewatching this thing and seeing more in it. That's a Chris Christie clone in the elevator. In some shots, the Mitt Romney character looks more like John Huntsman.

• That was a great idea with a brilliant execution. I loved that! But I agree that they missed an opportunity with Ryan -- they hit Mitt so accurately, but missed completely with Ryan, who is just as easy a target, I would think.
