Actors in more than one series at the same time

So, I just noticed that one of the actors in "Revolution" is also an actor in "Once Upon A Time" (The milita leader, and "the mirror"): Giancarlo Esposito This seems to be happening more often than I've ever noticed before, especially now that series are "year 'round" things... Is it just me? Who else can you name?

• Alison Brie in Community and Mad Men

• Not sure about these days, but in the past: Heather Locklear did "Dynasty" and "TJ Hooker" simultaneously in the '80s Victoria Rowell was a main cast member of "Diagnosis Murder" while doing "Y&R" Dorothy Lyman did "Mama's Family" and "All My Children" at the same time for a while

• Graham Patrick Martin is on Two and a Half Men and Major Crimes.

• Andrew Rannels is on the HBO series "Girls" as well as "The New Normal."

• Lisa Nicole Carson did both 'E.R.' and 'Ally McBeal' at the same time. George Clooney did both 'E.R.' and 'Sisters' at the same time.

• Giancarlo Esposito I believe he's also on Breaking Bad.

• Wasn't Lisa Kudrow on both Friends and Mad About You at the same time at the beginning?

• Let's not forget Dee Hall doing both 'Days of our Lives' and 'Our House' at the same time.

• Aaron Paul was on Big Love at the same time as Breaking Bad.

• Fuck you all, bitches! I did two LIVE plays at the same time: The Real Thing on Broadway and Hurly Burly off-Broadway....and I was a mere teen!! And my nightly co-stars were none other than Jeremy Irons, Glenn Close, William Hurt, Sigourney Weaver, Jerry Stiller, Harvey Keitel and the late great Ron Silver.

• Heather's Dynasty and TJ Hooker was different from Alison Brie or Lisa Kudrow in that she was a regular on both shows. Alison is recurring on Mad Men, and Lisa just had cameos on MAY.

• There is NOTHING that will test the mettle of a young actress than LIVE theater, especially in 2 simultaneous shows with all-star casts!!!!

• Richard Deacon played Lumpy's father on 'Leave It To Beaver' while playing Mel on 'The Dick Van Dyke Show'

• Steve Byers is/was in both The L.A. Complex and Alphas. L.A. Complex finale aired last week ago and the season of Alpha is still going.

• carrie preston was on the good wife and tru blood.

• Wasn't Heather Lockyear on TJ HOOKER around the same time she played Sammie Jo on DYNASTY?

• R11 Hadn't HURLY BURLY moved to Broadway? You had to be close so you could make both.

• Sorry, R32, OZ and SVU were not simultaneous - Meloni left OZ to do SVU. Sherri Shepard is on The View and 30 Rock. And Kelly Ripa did LIVE! with Regis and FAITH & HOPE for 2 years at the same time.

• Alison Sweeney - Days and The Biggest Loser, and probably other things as well.

• Not true, R33 - Christopher Meloni never left SUV until he left the show permanently last year. He was on OZ from 1998 until the show ended in about 2003. He started on SUV in '99.

• Will Arnett is currently shooting the new Netflix "Arrested Development" episodes along side is NBC "Up All Night" gig.

• R33 is totally wrong about Meloni. He did both shows at the same time. I know someone else said it, but it just had to be reiterated.

• Morgan Brittany did both Dallas and Glitter at the same time. Interesting Mike Doyle (SVU) had guest appearances on both The Good Wife and 666 Park Avenue, and they both appeared at the same opposite one another! He was on two shows, on different networks at the same time!

• Don't think this is that big of a deal. For instance, Alison Brie is in maybe 1 or 2 eps of Mad Men per season. Leaves plenty of time and money-making opportunities that she would be stupid to pass up.

• Chris Messina is on "The Newsroom" and "The Mindy Project," and he was also in the final season of "Damages" which aired this past summer.

• There's a huge difference between being one of the principals on a series vs the occasional guest-starring role. Many of you don't seem to understand that.

• Aaron Sorkin once wrote two weekly series at once, which is an even tougher call. The second season of Sports Night overlapped the first of The West Wing.

• That's often done, R43. I think at one point David E Kelley may have been working on three shows.
