I've developed a new appreciation for the Shemp episodes
I used to be all about Curly, but Shemp is pretty funny too.
I just found out that Shemp, Moe and Curly were brothers. I'm shocked.
The earlier Shemp shorts are very good, but the declining budgets in the later shorts really got in the way with way too many remakes, which sometimes consisted of more than 50% re-used footage from earlier shorts.
Shemp was probably the all-around best performer of all the various stooges and had many roles beyond the stooges.
I'm about to do you a big favor. Will you marry me? CLICK.
I would seek a qualified physician's advice for this problem.
I want Curly deep inside me.
I was watching a clip of Moe a year or two before he died, talk about his brothers, I believe it was from The Mike Douglas Show. He correctly described Shemp as a "slow burn" comic, which he was and described Curley (whom he called "Babe") as "an effervescent." I had never heard that as a description of a comic style, but how wonderfully accurate it is. Moe was incredibly likable and charming on the show.
