- Gaga is the only pop star I've ever liked. She's the only pop star's album I've ever bought, except the Bodyguard soundtrack I got when I was 12. Other than that, I'm a total indie fag.
It's been interesting to watch Gaga's transition from an underdog, to an underdog people root for, to a legitimate star, to the biggest pop star on the planet, to someone who might need to back away from the spotlight for awhile, to someone loathed and attacked, to someone downright hated.
This sort of arc rarely happens in indie/rock music. I don't really have any commentary, other than it's been fascinating. Pop fans can sure turn on their stars in no time.
