Mamma like (but the head looks too small for the body).
And this is his costume to play a straight porn star???
I'll never get his appeal. He has bug eyes.
He is a nice looking guy, has always been out in his career, is generally considered a good guy to work with and is fairly talented. We really shouldn't hate on him.
Anyway, hope The Performers is actually decent and can manage to attract a crowd. That picture is heavily photoshopped but seems like it will be a funny production and should include some Cheyenne eye candy. Xanadu was worth it just watching him show off those legs.
He is HOT. I'm glad we have at least a couple hot out gays in hollywood. Most are twinkish or trendy and boring. Jackson and Matt Bomer are actually hot which is nice for a change.
He's a hunk and he sounds good in Broadway musicals, but when he's off singing on his own and goes into a Bee Gees soprano voice, it's a total turn-off.
Does he have a brain? I know chorus boys don't need to be rocket scientists, but I always got the impression that he was not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.
Amazing thighs. I would like to see his butt.
Half-naked? OP, it's called "shirtless".
R7 from his interviews I don't think he's super smart either but he seems like a nice guy and he's hot so I'll take 2 of 3.
I'm looking forward to seeing this. He's sexy/funny.
I think he's hot.
Most actors aren't especially intelligent, that is pretty much par for course. I mean they are performers, not an educated professional, why would you expect them to be?
That is true, R13, but on the other hand I know many professionally educated professional educators who are dumb as dirt.
I don't believe the 'gay-for-pay' guys are straight...or even bisexual for that matter. They're gay. How quaint, they have girlfriends. Except when they have any free time, they never seem to be attracted, looking at, or cruising to the opposite sex. It always seems they're attracted to men.
But yes, they do have that one girlfriend which somehow qualifies them as 'bi.' Not. That's not how 'bi' works.
[quote]Does he have a brain?
I follow him on Twitter, and he seems bright enough. He has a sense of humor, and even in the context of a Tweet, he usually writes in complete sentences.
yeah, but how sure are we that he writes his own tweets?
R22. I'm still not convinced that dick pic is Cheyenne. Has he ever confirmed it? It doesn't look like Cheyenne's face.
It looks like Cheyenne's face, especially since he confirmed it years ago. That info was linked in a DL thread at the time. Do a search for the link.
It certainly does look like him, I don't understand how people can claim it doesn't. As far as I am aware he has never commented on it one way or another, which means it is almost certainly reveal or he would have denied it.
Sigh. Every time we talk about the 'dick pic,' someone says he confirmed it. But there's never a link to said confirmation.
Sigh. There was a link r27. Sigh. Why didn't you make note of the link instead of waiting five or six years? Sigh. You can't find it in the DL archives. Sigh. The promised archives are gone with the wind. Sigh. Nothing is forever. Sigh. Why don't you contact Cheyenne Jackson, r27, to ask for the link to his confirmation in a published interview.
Again with the insistence that there's a link without providing one.
Yes, r29-r27. It's a conspiracy to keep you from knowing the truth. That's why the archived DL threads were deleted three years ago. It's all because we don't want you to get that link.
[quote]Half-naked? OP, it's called "shirtless".
No, it's not "shirtless." It's indeed "half-naked."
What were you expecting the photo would be like? That he'd have a shirt on and no pants?
I'm always put off by his eyes too. It's weird, because despite his general handsomeness and his great body, the googly eyes will prevent him from ever being a genuine screen star--he'll always be a Broadway star.
"He's a hunk and he sounds good in Broadway musicals, but when he's off singing on his own and goes into a Bee Gees soprano voice, it's a total turn-off."
What the hell are you talking about?
As to Cheyenne's intelligence, he is a very funny guy, and I've always said and firmly believe that a great sense of humor goes hand in hand with high intelligence.
He fired his management after they failed to get him an audition for Magic Mike - he wanted the Matt Bomer part. Cheyenne is PISSED that he's still stuck on Broadway and hasn't gotten a movie or a TV series. He is insanely jealous of his contemporary Neil Patrick Harris for transitioning into the mainstream with his TV success.
I know the truth.
What actor doesn't always hope for a better and more successful career? Especially transitioning away from Broadway which is a tough and tiring career. I mean he tried to get some traction with Glee and 30 Rock but those roles were both pretty light.
Maybe "Mockingbird Lane" will find an audience as a midseason replace.
Cheyenne lks like he really got in top shape for this show, and you see him nearly naked for a second half-way thru this video ad:
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
