• Tom Daley and some of the others are lucky that their scores aren't carried over from the qualifying round. I kind of think that it's wrong to have the scores wiped clean after each portion of the competition. I think that your scores from the previous portion should be carried over to the next one.

• So do we have to wait until tonight to see this on NBC? Are they going to show both the semi-final and the final tonight?

• Seems like the SEMI will be on NBC at 10:00 am and the FINAL will be on NBC at 8:30 pm ?

• r2 - Yes, 8. Canadian Riley McCormick really cute - sweet face & well-defined, lean v-shape. Matthew Mitcham is relaxed and mugging the camera after his dives but probably not doing anything special enough to push through. • Mitcham is still giving full cheese to the camera. Based on the comments, or lack of, in the qualifying thread, I'm guessing that in their tape delay broadcast of the event, NBC must not show the 10 seconds of cock adjustments that Daley made before his final dive yesterday.

• r5 - Well, I can't think of any sport where an early round score is counted in later rounds. Boudia really killed the 3rd round. Jesus must have taken the wheel. Daley tugs the front of his suit before he dives like Rafa tugs at his wedge before he serves. I want to know what the Colombian diver's huge torso tat says. • Who would have thought that Boudia would be doing so well, considering he was 18th in prelims?

• Mitchum nails the 4th round and celebrates like he's won gold. Boy knows how to enjoy himself. Standings: 1 & 2 - Lin & Qui 3 - Boudia 4 - Klein (Germany) 7 - Daley 8 - Mitchum (yay!) McCrory is 11.

• In the prelim coverage on Friday night, NBC had the four preferred divers (Mitcham, Boudia, McCrory, and Daley) against the Chinese. With Mitcham out, will NBC go with American's favored three vs. the Chinese, or will they add the Canadian to the mix?
