What thread died that you wish had continued (but you didn't just want to be talking to yourself)?
You thought you were clever and came up with an interesting topic and it dies. Or you're a latecomer to a thread, make a comment and it's already talked out.
Time for thread CPR...
include links if you want
- I had one thread that so perfectly explored the issue of the day that it never got any replies, because I had said everything that needed or could be said, yet I know that anyone who read it during its brief moment in the sun, left datalounge a better person. Only now I can't recall the topic.
- The thread about my blog. Shameless self-promotion.

- Sorry. This link is better.

- I am NOT the OP, but the Jennifer Aniston thread brought me so much joy. It didn't have to die. I want it back.

- 1) The thread asking, "Has anyone on DL ever worked in porn?"
2) The What Ever Happened To thread about former Playgirl models/Centerfolds. I wanted to know more about Frank Kennedy (March 91-I think), Marty Wolfson (early 70's), Steve Bond (who ended up on General Hospital) and Bill Cable.
3) I think there was one of those great Behind-The-Scenes gossip threads about "Grace Under Fire" (and Brett Butler), "Knots Landing," and current news about "General Hospital"

- I think there was a thread about the MaloCult. The Bizzaro soap freak website. What was up with that.

Me too! great thread. I also liked the soap threads even if most of them got zapped. I did start a soap thread with Marty Saybrooke (Susan Haskell) in the title that actually made it to 600 I believe.
Forever Fabian Forte!!
- "Do you believe in linear time and object permanence?" was fun in a kind of whacked way.
It was years old and has been deleted, but I just Googled and found two cool blog posts by some awesome DLer that document the thread and include several quoted posts. I'll link to the first; the link to the follow-up post is at the end of the comments section.

- Six or seven "Murder She Wrote" threads have died in the past two years. If they had been combined, it could be a good thread.

- Ginny from Billing should have never been killed off.
- W&Wed R10, hee!
- And F&F for R7 for endless posting of soap threads. Editor, please block, ban and redtag!

- The "Guys Presenting Their Dicks" threads.
They were all closed and deleted.
Sigh.
Best. Threads. Ever.
- I think this video is brilliant so I've bumped this thread more than once. It's usually bypassed, however. It's a foursome of elderly superheroes as the THE GOLDEN GIRLS.

- LOVES that R15, I wish they's do regular episodes.

Gee, I wonder why, trollerina...
- (rolling eyes at R17)
- How do I find older threads on DL? Please make it as simple as possible, as I'm technically challenged. Thanks.
[...]-[...]
- 1. Go to Google
2. Type datalounge
3. In the same box, type a word for a topic you may be seeking: Cooper or Speedo or Garland or Travolta or Obama or whatever topic you are seeking.
- Thanks so much for that link R8. That was a great thread and the blogger posted it into two parts. Wonderful find!!!
- R19 - the best way is to go to google and type in site:datalounge.com ciaran (as an example - please don't bother to search me) This should bring up only datalounge threads

- I'm still wondering if we figured out why Milo Ventimiglia had weird, sunken nipples.
- I miss the thread about me. It didn't get much play at all. Not too surprising though, I was hardly known even when I wasn't washed up.

- Speaking of R24- the "Donna Mills from Knots Landing Here" thread which turned into wild stories of the backstabbing, gossip, cruelty and all-out bitchery ...
of the Lorimar commissary in the late 70s into the 80s. Knots, Eight is Enough, Dallas, Falcon Crest and The Waltons were all there.
- Relationship Haiku
- I would love to read the "Donna Mills from Knots Landing Here" thread that R25 mentioned. Please somebody post a link or bump it back up.

- I think there's something in The Datalounge Rules of COnduct that says links to pron istes will be deleted.
I don't have any problem with them, but I wonder if they're started by people who are just not internet savvy. Hint: just go to Google, remove search restrictions and do provocative word searches like "soldiers swimming" or "nude volleyball".
You don't need us to get your jollies.
- I started a thread entitled "What if Meryl Streep and Lucille Ball had traded parts in "Stone Pillow" and "Sophie's Choice?" The post got 4 responses, three of which were obscene.
