What thread died that you wish had continued (but you didn't just want to be talking to yourself)?

• I had one thread that so perfectly explored the issue of the day that it never got any replies, because I had said everything that needed or could be said, yet I know that anyone who read it during its brief moment in the sun, left datalounge a better person. Only now I can't recall the topic.

It was years old and has been deleted, but I just Googled and found two cool blog posts by some awesome DLer that document the thread and include several quoted posts. • Speaking of R24- the "Donna Mills from Knots Landing Here" thread which turned into wild stories of the backstabbing, gossip, cruelty and all-out bitchery ... of the Lorimar commissary in the late 70s into the 80s. Knots, Eight is Enough, Dallas, Falcon Crest and The Waltons were all there.

• I think there's something in The Datalounge Rules of COnduct that says links to pron istes will be deleted. I don't have any problem with them, but I wonder if they're started by people who are just not internet savvy. Hint: just go to Google, remove search restrictions and do provocative word searches like "soldiers swimming" or "nude volleyball". You don't need us to get your jollies.

• I started a thread entitled "What if Meryl Streep and Lucille Ball had traded parts in "Stone Pillow" and "Sophie's Choice?" The post got 4 responses, three of which were obscene.
