What's all this talk about Chris Klein being Suri's father?
Seriously - ..
What's the deal?
[quote]What's the deal?
Didn't your parents have that birds and bees talk with you? Do you really need a total description of how it works?
Katie was with Chris Klein before Tammy, and broke up with him. It was rumored that she was already pregnant with Klein's baby when she met Cruise. The COS played with the numbers regarding Katie's pregnancy to make it appear that she conceived Suri with Cruise. The birth was hushed up and private. And when Suri was finally revealed to the public as a "newborn", she looked about 3-4 months old. It was rumored that Katie had Suri earlier, and wore a "baby bump" until the timeline was correct for her to "deliver" Suri.
Plus Tammy was never able to father a child with either Mimi Rogers or Nicole Kidman, so it was thought he was sterile.
Sterile due to a nasty STD caught as a rent boy in NYC.
Don't forget the whole rumour...
Didn't Tom and Katie go to a nearby hospital and claim that Suri was just born? I think another celeb had a baby on that same date in a room down the hall.
Nah, she looks nothing like Chris Kliein. She looks exactly like TC though. Maybe conceived through artificial insemination, but definitely his kid.
Wow, some of you are nuts.
I think the baby is Hartnett's. Katie had been with Hartnett for a month or two, then for about a week, she was back with Klein...next thing you knew, she was marrying Tom. I think she loved Klein but when he found out she was carrying Harnett's baby, he would not marry her. It was probably no problem for Tom, since it wasn't a real marriage, he thought he could look like Mr. Stud. Katie was broken hearted and decided to make the deal...probably giving Klein a big fck you. Girls do things like that especially when they are pregnant and emotional.
I entered this contest personally and I post the comments on DL that start with, "I heard." Katie's sperm donor was a Tammatha family member who squeezed off shots of baby batter for financial gain. The Sciento Pope offered, but Tammatha wanted to add height to his family bush. Giving complete names is dangerous as we are talking about powerful, ruthless people.
I got honorable mention and 23.00 from this contest.
A little off topic but did anyone see this ABC news interview with Chris done back in April? Like so many other celebs who have "cleaned up", you can tell that the crazy is still brewing just below the surface. His eyes tell the whole story. On the one hand, his stare is intense but at the same time, he has classic dead eyes. A lot of what he says seems to rehearsed and self-possessed but he stammers a lot and a lot of "uhms" like he doesn't believe what he's saying.
We haven't heard the last of his crazy.
was tom cruise really a rent boy?
never heard that one!
only heard about keanu reeves allegedly being one!
If Chris Klein were the real father, wouldn't a simple DNA test be the end of all of Katie's CO$ custody problems?
The fact that she's not going there means it's not true.
If Tom is not the bio father, the real bio dad must step forward and fight to be recognized.
Tom is the legal father and even if a DNA test eliminates him as being the bio dad, the courts still recognize Cruise as the legal dad.
I think the talk of Keanu having been a rent boy dates from his first pair of Gloria Vanderbilt's jeans. There was a "NO VACANCY" script on each back pocket. So many assumed, and we all know what we do when we ASSume, that his precious space was already rented. In fact, it was his nice way of admitting he was full of shit.
I don't know who fathered the child, but they have a procedure where they can cut open the testicles of 'seemingly' sterile men and find live sperm and inseminate the woman. My friend had cancer when he was a kid and the treatments left him 'sterile'. His wife was anti adoption, so they went for the procedure and got enough sperm out of somewhere in his nuts for a couple of kids.
In line with R16's post, there was a really creepy (to me, anyway) story about harvesting sperm about two or so years ago. A young man in his early 20's was killed in an accident (he did not have children) and his mother, who wanted a grandchild, had his sperm harvested from his dead body and artificially inseminated into his girlfriend or a surrogate, I can't remember. The story just freaked me out.
OP, R3 gave you the details of the supposed conspiracy theory, but failed to mention that it's all colossal bullshit. There was at least a 14-month gap between Katie breaking up with Chris Klein and Suri's birth. The photos published of Suri in Vanity Fair, a few months after her birth, showed not a newborn but rather an infant that was clearly several months old, with a substantial head of hair. Our resident gay men, nevertheless -- who profess to understand all aspects of female anatomy, the childbirth process, and what children at various stages of growth look like, never mind their complete lack of experience in that area -- deemed it all a "fake," this after asserting that Katie's entire pregnancy was fake to begin with and that she was pregnant with a "pillow." The appearance of an actual child forced them to revisit their conspiracy theory, hence the false comments that Suri "looked way too old for her age."
It is not truly known whether Tom is sterile, though it's quite reasonable to assume Nicole Kidman was pregnant with another man's child when he walked out on her and filed for divorce. Even if one buys the sterility theory, one also has to consider the tale -- now reasonably accepted as truth -- that Tom "auditioned" numerous actresses for the role of his wife a few years after he broke up with Nicole. It's just *too* convenient that he'd've found, in Katie, the "perfect wife" who just happened to already be in the early stages of a pregnancy with the fetus of a man who looks vaguely like Tom, aside from being six inches taller than him.
Suri's bio dad is Tom's cousin, William Mapother.
There was a story in one of the tabloids a few years ago that quoted a close friend of Klein's who described a late-night alcohol sodden chat where Klein lamented accepting Cruise's money to surrender any claim to paternity of his (CK's) child with Holmes.
Suri wasn't publicly exhibited until she was (supposedly) six months old (really 8 months), remember? At first Cruise claimed they wanted to shield "their" baby from the media - yeah, right! Like they've shown any interest in doing that APART from during those first six months!
The reason being that any fool can tell a three-month-old baby from one that's only a month old. They had to wait six months until Suri could plausibly be taken to be two months younger than her actual age when snapped by papp' s on the red carpet, as opposed to releasing privately-taken, approved photo's.
This also explains the peculiar "Scientology delivery" (the fabled silent birth) that they play-acted in their private hospital suite: none of the hospitals doctors or nurses on staff were allowed any access.
Not forgetting the ridiculous photo's of Katie's ever-changing pregnancy bump (small - big - small again) as she dressed to suit her mood in the supposed last weeks of her pregnancy.
You are wrong r14. Katie and Tom were not married when Suri was born.
R26, wouldn't the applicable date be the date of conception, rather than the date of birth? And since they weren't married on either of those dates, wouldn't the issue be cohabitation rather than marriage?
I don't know the law for either NY or Calif, but cohabitation at conception seems to be the logical issue. And whatever presumption may arise from that fact would be rebuttable by actual DNA evidence, wouldn't it?
No, I believe it's marriage. A marriage is legal. Co-habitating might be opinion.
R26, you're correct, but it's irrelevant whether they were married when Suri was born. If Tom's not the biological father, he has no way to claim paternal rights aside from formally adopting Suri, which of course Katie would never agree to. Tom is undoubtedly listed on Suri's birth certificate as the biological dad, incidentally, so Katie -- if she *really* wanted to play hardball and send the fight into nuclear mode -- would have to go public with an assertion that Suri's not his child in order to get a DNA test done. I can't even fathom Cruise's handlers letting the situation get that far, assuming Cruise isn't Suri's natural-born father (and I am highly suspicious of any claim that he's not - he has far too much to lose career-wise if he's been keeping up a six-year-long ruse that Suri is his kid).
R23 has the whole pregnancy story wrong. We never said Holmes faked the pregnancy (that was Beyonce and Kidman), we said she was 2-3 months more pregnant than she claimed. Speaking as one who followed the whole spectacle, there was photographic evidence dating from the time of the announcement to the end of Suri's infancy.
The real paternity is still muddy, of course. Holmes didn't have an official long-term boyfriend at the time we think she concieved, but who needs an official long-term boyfriend to get pregnant? She could have had a booty call with Klein, or Hartnett, or some random hot guy with blue eyes.
But probably not Cruise's urologist, if our timeline is correct she was already pregnant when she started taking meetings with TOm's people.
[quote]We never said Holmes faked the pregnancy (that was Beyonce and Kidman), we said she was 2-3 months more pregnant than she claimed.
Revisionist history much?? The "pillow" jokes about Katie's pregnancy commenced the instant the first photos of her baby bump hit the Internet. The Beyonce and Kidman claims paled in comparison to the number of threads and comments about Katie's supposedly faked pregnancy.
Speaking of Kidman, it's interesting, considering all the attention her supposed faked pregnancy got, that there was virtually no comment on DL when she subsequently DID use a surrogate to bear her second biological child...
I'd love to see Suri's dna test results, esp. when compared with Tom's. And that might be the clincher if he tries to get custody.
R31, the pillow talk (Hi Doris!) was all prompted by her wildly varying baby bump in the supposed final weeks of her pregnancy.
You may not remember this but in the "middle" of her pregnancy Katie disappeared for a few of months (no public sightings). I believe she had her baby in secret at this time.
When she re-emerged was when the peculiar shape-shifting pregnancy phenomenon started (big/small/big belly) and many photographers (and alert DL posters) started talking about that. That was also when the infamous windy day pillow photo was taken (linked @ R25).
Then came the mysterious "silent" Scientology birth (it's not hard to figure out why they concocted that story).
Then followed six months of scrupulous privacy for the "reclusive Cruises" (since when?). That all ended with the big Vanity Fair article featuring Annie Leibovitz's family portraits - taken when and under what secrecy provisions? I bet there's a story there! Certainly the Vanity Fair article was claimed to have been months in the making (maybe a subtle hint from Grayson?)
R14 here. Yes I was wrong and R26 is correct.
Since she was an older baby, Tom and Katie have both fame whored out Suri. It's totally out of character for either of them to "wait 6 months" until the child could be featured in the media. Celebrity moms with their newborns always get the covers of the magazines (Jessica Simpson, Angelina, etc.). And to this day, we have yet to see a newborn, 1 month, 3 month, etc. photo of Suri. Why the privacy gap?
[quote]Except that the gene for baldness is passed down from the mother.
Another village is missing an idiot, I see.
I never understood the whole jumping on the sofa thing. That was classic closet case overcompensation. All I could think was, "Big deal. Haven't you ever watched Dawson's Creek?"
She looks just like Tom.
She looks like Tom because Tom looks like Katie.

Suri was born in April. The VF photo shoot took place in August -- *four* months after her birth, not six -- and was published in the October VF issue, which hit newsstands the first week of September. The shots were taken at the Cruises' Aspen ranch, a sizable compound with considerable security. Since you clearly don't know any straight couples, you probably aren't aware that parents usually "introduce" their babies to friends at least a couple of months after birth, because the first eight weeks or so are a total bitch since babies generally don't sleep through the night at that stage.
Btw many celebrities are reluctant to share photos of recently born infants with the media because many of them are flat-out ass-ugly for the first couple of months. Some, but not most, babies look beautiful at birth, but there's no way to know until after the birth. Also, eight weeks' minimum is required for a new mom to get rid of most of her baby weight, more if she's had a Caesarean (which itself requires six weeks' recovery time).
Tom and Katie don't have a single facial feature in common unless you think everyone with eyes resembles one another. Go to the fucking eye doctor.
Suri may as well have Tommy Davis' cloned head sitting on her shoulders.
I disagree, I think she looks very much like Hartnett. I really don't believe she is Tom's child but I still believe the first two are his.
[quote]I really don't believe she is Tom's child but I still believe the first two are his.
To clarify: you think his ADOPTED children, one of whom is black, are actually his biological spawn?!?
r41 - I totally agree! I've posted in a few places on DL that she is Tommy Davis' child, but no one seemed to agree. I still think she looks more like him than any other possibility that has been brought up so far.
r43 - his son could be biracial.
No kidding, r43? Gee whiz....
Yes r43, unless you are completely blind...Connor looks exactly like his father.
You know why eye witness reports are so unreliable? Because most people can't see what is right in front of their face.
EVERYONE thinks that I'm adopted, as I look nothing like the rest of my family. Doesn't mean that it's true. Just saying.
R42/R47 = Helen Keller
Always nice to have you visit, Helen. Try not to walk into the wall there.
She looks like Tom.
Hopefully that's all she inherited from him, if he is her bio father.
I wonder if Tom Cruise isn't really 70 years old with that giant nose and those elephant ears.
I have never seen a picture of Tommy Davis before, so I just Googled him and, Holy Smokes! Suri looks *just* like him. I was always in the Hartnett camp, but I'm changing my vote to Tommy Davis.
From what they say, Davis has not been seen for quite some time. They should look in the desert for a fresh grave.
If he reported against the St Pete Times...he's a lousy idiot.
My whole thing is Katie came to Tom pregnant, that's one reason why he married her. The Scienos didn't have to do anything artificially to her. If you believe Tom got her pregnant, you probably also believe Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie slept in the same bed.
r54 speaks the truth.
As someone on another thread astutely pointed out, Suri has the Mapother nose before Tom got it fixed. I think it's his cousin's kid. No way did he create her with his own sperm.
Every little kid has the same nose, get over it.
[quote]If Tom's not the biological father, he has no way to claim paternal rights aside from formally adopting Suri,
A thousand times no. Where the fuck do people get these ridiculous ideas from? The birth certificate is what counts. It's about paper, not DNA. Why would the government give a flying fuck about your biological parenthood? Tom IS the legal father.
However he would definitely be very humiliated if Katie publicly said he wasn't the bio dad, so she'd hold all the cards anyway, if that was the case.
RUN SURI RUN!!!
How many times do I have to explain this? I was madly in love with Kate and fucked the shit outta her like a MAN. I came buckets inside her vagina and she became pregnant.
Katie was engaged to Chris, they broke up because he couldn't maintain his addictions. She went to London to see her ex and longtime friend and fuckbuddy, Joshua Jackson perform in a play. They had sex one last time because she knew had already agreed to do the Cruise press tour. Katie found out she was pregnant and all it did was up the ante for Tom, who CANNOT have children.
Google younger pics of Joshua, who was a child actor. The secret is in the eyes and the eyelids. Pure as the driven snow. The reason katie's belly got insane in the end is because thats when she began faking it to the media to coincide with the Cruise timeline. Baby pics of Suri back that up. Josh and Katie no longer have any contact and Chris Klein thought that Suri was his, which sent him straight over the edge. He has never gotten over Katie and he actually feels responsible because he caused their break-up, which led Katie to where she is today. It's really a twisted mess, but let's all be perfectly honest. We all know people who have some baby mama and baby daddy drama.
Longtime Lurker- first time poster. I couldn't hold it in anymore ;)
R61, what do you mean by "he couldn't maintain his addictions"?
Alcohol, sometimes blow. But he was more of a drunk frat boy than he was a Hollywood coke head.
Suri looks nothing like TC. He hardly sees her after the divorce, which could be another clue to him not being the biological father.
Yeah, the Klein guy looks like he could be the father.
I feel very sorry for the kid, she was used to fake TC's hereto image as a potent male. Then lived in the weird and dangerous Xenu world for most of her childhood and now Katie uses her for staged pap shots to boost her profile and fading profile. So disgusting and sick!
TC's black son actually looks more like him than anyone. I could buy him being his biologically.
Nothing to it at all. Conspiracy do-dos that didn't want to believe that IVF existed (especially not for gay man), or that the kid looks as much (or more) like Tom as the suspects they came up with– latched onto it.
Chris was an old flame of KH that as far as I can tell ran it's course a long time ago. I think he also has serious substance abuse issues.
I believe the Joshua Jackson theory as noted above. How do you know about this trip to London?
Well, R61, here's a picture comparing Joshua Jackson and Suri Cruise at the same age. I can't say I see an overwhelming resemblance.
But yeah, I was on board for the whole pregnancy watch thing, and I still think she postdated the pregnancy by three or four months.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
