just said he died of a heart attack this morning. he was 30 years old and frequently posted about his use of drugs.

• R3, you wound me to the quick! Actually I looked on the first page, figuring it would be there. My bad. On the upside, at least I'm getting the most out of that $18.

• Icon? It's sad when someone dies, but he was a celebrity, not an icon and personally I don't much care. He'd probably had laughed at the thought of having sex with most of us on DL, despite the jack of fantasies taken to near hysterical levels of fake intimacy and attachment to someone you've never met.

• It's not any sadder than a million OTHER people who, whether through mental illness or just personal CHOICE, make horrendous life decisions. I have known plenty. And they were HIS choices to make so, really, why is it even sad at all? I mean, being a GAY PORN star "brands" you for life, in some respects as a certain type of person. He CHOSE it. The drugs, the steroids, the wild party lifestyle. He HIMSELF knew his story was not unique, was a cliche. He leaves behind lots of jack off films for people that will provide some pleasure to some for awhile. But other than that, his life pretty much wasn't spent in "service to mankind," for heaven's sake. Who's is? Another dead gay porn star is a big yawn, actually.
