Think eve as jan was the most realistic brady kid. It probably wouldve worked better if jan had been more homely. Marcia had everything easy due to her looks. Jan was pretty too but had to struggle more for some reason.
I can't choose between my two daughter! Goodness!
Well, OK... Maureen.
Jan had to struggle more because she was in her sister's shadow. But she had the brains and the beauty as well.
We need to know.
OP needs to stop starting these "or" threads, enough, they're not imaginative or interesting. They're pointless really. Come up with some better ideas or just stop starting threads.
This was supposed to be a parody thread of those other, random threads.
It's always Marcia, Marcia, Marcia...
My name is Marcia I'm the family beauty
From my long flowing hair to my bomb as beauty
My sexiness is used to taunt
And win awards that I don't even want.
Eve was weak
I always thought Jan was the more interesting character. Plumb, who's doing a lot of stagework in NY and has studied with the Groundlings, is also a more versatile actress than McCormick. Too bad they're feuding now, they used to be so close. Someone once posted a youtube video of a brief interview with Susan Olson (Cindy), who basically said she's been a mediator for both of them, always stuck in the middle. But in another interview she said, "Don't blame Eve," for the feud, because McCormick took the lesbian kissing angle too far just to sell her book.
I thought Eve was a better actress too, though I suspect she didn't want fame as much as Maureen.
How about both, and I can dump Alice to be the filing in a Brady sandwich?
I started Maureen's autobiography - she was very jealous of Eve.
Jan was my favorite Brady kid, but I have a soft spot for Maureen after reading her book.
I remember Eve Plumb played a teenage runaway prostitute in a made-for-TV movie in the seventies. Her character's boyfriend was also a prostitute.
She was actually very talented.
What does "play/played" mean? What is it meant to mean?
Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!!!!
R24 - That was the role Eve had.
I don't know anyone that thought Eve/Jan was remotely attractive.
As far as the characters go, Marcia was obviously the better sister. Marcia was more attractive, smarter, and could basically do everything better than Jan except sweep the floor and scoop ice cream.
And Marcia never had to fake having a boyfriend... in fact, did Jan ever have ANY boyfriends on the show?
I'll admit to being occasionally thick (although not by DL standards), but what does "play/played" have to do with the role of Jan Brady?
Jan was three years behind Marcia. I actually think Eve was prettier than Maureen, especially around the end of the show.
Eve will be playing a madcap heiress/Dada poetess in the upcoming indie film, "The Sisters Plotz."
Eve had the prettier, more luxurious hair. Eve also eventually had the bigger boods. Maureen was, overall, hotter.
[quote]Eve had the prettier, more luxurious hair.
Really? Because I thought it always looked a frizzy mess.
[quote]Eve also eventually had the bigger boods.
Don't know what those are but Eve did have bigger boobs. But then again, Eve was also fatter.
Both are good actresses.
[quote]Really? Because I thought it always looked a frizzy mess.
A frizzy mess? Eve's hair was always impeccable. Waist length, golden and thick, Maureen's paled by comparison.
R39 uh no. I agree with whoever posted that. Jan was ugly.
Looks like we have an Eve Plumb troll.
R40 looks like Anne B. Davis.
No contest. Marcia was always the better sister. Prettier, better personality.
Jan was like Lisa Simpson, annoying to everyone.
Yup, we definitely have an Eve troll.
Not hardly, R43. Let me guess, you're one of those annoying DLers (trolls, coincidentally) who like to single people out who make consecutive flattering comments about a person and deem them "trolls", as a way of seeking attention for yourself. Well, the joke's on you, buddy. As you can see from my post at R34, I said that Maureen was hotter overall, but to say that Eve was "ugly" is just foolish.
And you still look like Anne B. Davis.
[quote]And you still look like Anne B. Davis.
Is that supposed to be funny or witty because... it's not.
Sounds like something Jan would have said. Marcia would have come up with something much more clever.
Easy, Eve talent, Maureen looks. Both excelled in their respective categories.
[quote]Is that supposed to be funny or witty because... it's not.
You reek of butthurtedness.
You probably got called a troll because only trolls make comments or have lame come backs like that.
And the person you made your reply to at R47 isnt even the same person who called you a troll.
Remember if you don't feed it, it'll die.
Marcia had the looks hands down. Eve was never a looker or all that attractive. Maybe towards the end of the show but definitely not during the majority of it. To call either of them the better actor during the run is a stretch. Its not like they had to do much.
Wait, what is the feud between Maureen and Eve?
[quote]You probably got called a troll because only trolls make comments or have lame come backs like that.
Lame? If I wasn't talking to you, then why did you feel so compelled to comply? Are you butthurt as well? I think so.
[quote]And the person you made your reply to at [R47] isnt even the same person who called you a troll.
So compelled to "reply", that is.
[quote]Remember if you don't feed it, it'll die.
I agree. Now if only R43 would take the hint.
Funny I was going to say that the troll here reminded me of one particular crazy here who has that kind of crazy where they have no concept how crazy they come off... and then I used troll-dar and discovered they were one and the same.
It all makes sense now.
Yup. Just ignore it like the majority of us do.
Eve did have better hair. Maureen herself was jealous of Eve's body.
[R33] Back in the day, a lot of Americans yelled "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" most of them masturbaing teenage boys with Maureen McCormich pictures.
Girls! Girls! Calm down. Neither of you are pretty.
