• I'm pretty sure it goes something like this: enormous interest-only loan taken to build the house (about $2 million). Unable to sell when completed, so Gorga moved in. The interest-only portion is about to expire and they have to start paying back principal, which they are in absolutely no position to do. The next phase of this is finding out that not much of the original loan even went into building the house and instead went to Melissa's shoe collection and "gawjiss" "gold" statues. I think they are asking $4m, but I'm guessing the real value is around $1m or less. The whole lot of them are living off of debt and outright fraud. It's all pretty obvious when you watch the shows. They have no education and no jobs. They have all day to sit around and manufacture tv-ready drama. Yet they have these incredibly lavish, tacky, and expensive lifestyles. The amazing thing is how long they are able to get away with flaunting their "wealth". Makes me feel like a sucker for having a job and paying my bills.

The problem with a house that size is that it is not about the house at all-- it can't be-- it's about the owner.
