• They're very active now! Of course, it's 7:00 am and pussies are at their most active between 5:00 am and 7:00 am. I am one of the most cynical, child-intolerant people in the world, and STILL I find this cam very cute.

• The kitties are gone. The dude hurt his leg so they are in the Purrfect Pals adoption center. None got adopted on Saturday which is hard to believe since they are so adorable. I miss the kitties.

• Good news Cassidy and Corey were adopted today. One was adopted by a live stream viewer. A lady might adopt either one or both of the remaining kitties tomorrow. Also, someone may be interested in Mama Miranda.

• This is seriously stupid but I get a bit sad sometimes when kittens get adopted without their siblings. It's stupid as most of the kittens don't care/remember/know any better and I should just be happy they have been adopted. Still... I sometimes run across a few, usually adults, who are attached and do have to be adopted together. I adopted a pair of girls but I wanted two anyway. My cats aren't particularly close but have lived together all their lives. I guess their routine would be messed up if one of them wasn't around anymore. But I don't think they would particularly miss each other.

• R51, except for African lions, cats live alone in the wild & it's not their nature to form bonds the way pack animals like dogs do. But they do get used to having the other pets in the household around, & they do notice when one of them is gone. "Grieving" isn't really the right word, but cats hate having their routine disrupted & the older they are when it happens, the longer it takes for them to adjust. So glad these kittens are being adopted, though I miss watching them.

• R51. I know. I got my kitten as company for my other cat. I wasn't able to adopt her two siblings. But she is the happiest, sweetest cat and I give her tons of love. The adoption agency had tons of kittens the day I adopted her. I went back the next week and the volunteer said all of the kittens were adopted that day. So I know her sibs got good homes.

• I love the little orange one that climbs up the cage and falls down, they're all adorable. I love kittens.

• There are two lines of thought on Mama on the feeds. One Mama is too rough. The other she just playful and teaching what it's like in the real world. I don't kmow I think Mama Miranda was a bit sweeter than Mama Marie.

• Mama Marie was very malnourished when she was found. She only weighed about five or six pounds. If you watched when the kittens were younger, none of them wanted to nurse at the nipples closer to her front legs. She probably has not been able to produce enough milk for four kittens, especially now that they are bigger. I've seen at least one of them at the food dish already.

• Agree poor thing was malnourished and has had a rough life. Hopefully,someone will adopt her as an only cat and she can be Queen Bee of the house. Which one is the kitten with the mostly white face and a smaller amount of orange? It's adorkable

• A few minutes ago,kittens were feeding and Mama Marie just jumped up and scrammed. Poor little kits were just looking around like what happened. The little white faced one is Einstintina.

• R100, the mother comes and goes now that they're not nursing much. You can rewind the feed to the beginning (or any other point), but the beginning shows the daily weigh-in and evening feeding with all parties accounted for.

• Look at the weight charts the males are about the same while Einstein is behind them, so she's certainly a girl.

• R123, check out the facebook page- it's linked on the kitten cam website. Einstein and Tesla are going to be adopted by one of the ardent viewers/chatters who lives in the area. Good news if you want follow up reports and pictures. John (aka Chester) said he'll try to get the ginger twins adopted together also. He said he'll contribute to adoption costs if that helps. The guy has fostered something like 30 sets of kittens but this group seems special. Einstein will be spayed on Thurs btw- she was underweight for the procedure when her brothers got snipped, which is why they all got an extra week Chez Kitten Cam.

• R121, the box is an empty catfood box that Einy kept playing in when he jumped the fence. Chester finally put it in the enclosure as a toy. They're all still jumping the fence anyhow.

• For anyone concerned about Mama Marie, Chester posted on fb a message received by a viewer who contributed to the rescue shelter that is caring for her. (for those who missed it, Marie went back to the shelter for special care because she was losing weight and had ongoing GI problems; the shelter is able to give her special care and attention): "Good news...Marie is as happy as can be here at the shelter. She is eating well and has lots of playful energy."

• All the kitties adopted!! Darwin and Newton went to separate homes(crying) but at least they have good homes and are not in a shelter. Tesla and Einy are at home. Pics and videos on their fb page.

• I'm crying. Chester had just gotten 4 week old fosters. The Anarchy kittens -but had to take them back today. Apparently , they were too much for him. The mother had walked out the door and he was going to try to foster them. He said it was the youngest brood he had ever had without a mother. I give him kudos for trying. Some are suggesting Mama Marie as a surrogate but the poor thing is still underweight. She doesn't need that stress. On a happier note, Einy and Teslas's Facebook page is a joy. Such a nice family and plenty of exploring room. Darwin and Newton are also doing great.

• This is heartbreaking. Mummy Rosemary is frantic to get out of the cage. She is ignoring the babies and practically smothered Pepper. John is trying to find a solution to calm Rosemary down. She isn't used to being confined.

• I don't know all the backstage drama, but there's a pile of kittens in the middle of the cage crying for food and the mother cat is licking herself about a foot away, ignoring them all. Is it always like the Octomom in there?

• She's not one of those prissy mothers. She demands her children stand on their own two feet, four at a time. Those kittens won't be getting food stamps

• Everyone is more comfortable now, with a nice box to hide in at one end of the cage.

• As soon as John put that box inside the cage mummy calmed right down and started nursing the babies. Before, they kept wandering away and screaming their little lungs out because they couldn't find their way back. I guess it was stressing Rosemary out that the kittens weren't confined in a nest. Now, they all seem quite content, and Rosy is being a very good mother.

• Chester tried to take care of the anarchy kittens before he got the spice kittens. The mom had run off. He couldn't handle the feeding,etc of the kittens without the mama so he took them back after a few days. Another foster did take over for him. I'm wondering if some of the little guys just couldn't survive without nursing from the mom..just a guess. He might still have a few pics of them on his Facebook page but not sure. He tried and felt bad about giving them back.

• These kitties are much older than many of the broods he's fostered. The last lot couldn't even walk - I think they were only a day or two old. These guys are almost ready for adoption.

• They're gorgeous! And from the looks of some of them their daddy must have a very thick fluffy coat.

• They're not quite 4 weeks yet -- weaning is typically at 6 weeks. Most rescue groups won't offer animals for adoption until they've been neutered, which most vets won't do for kittens before the age of 2 months. So these kids need at least a month of foster care before adoption.

• Why don't they ever show kitty daddy?

• They don't have daddies. They are typical welfare queens, always reproducing to get on the government's teat. You do know that this chester just drowns the kittens after two months and finds another cat and starts over. No one ever hears from the cats again. His "son" is such a fairy, you know that he's being kept. This old man is always going "fishing" with his buddies. No doubt for "chicken." This lot of Obama kitties have five in the nest.
