Have you ever (finally) had that one big secret you could finally contribute to Datalounge gossip, only to have no one believe you or were called out as an EST or troll? Mine was that alcoholism, retribution-betrayal and resulting HIV infection was behind one of Anderson Cooper's failed long-term relationships.

• I think there are a great deal of readers and posters on Datalounge who love gossip in general but get very defensive when they come across something that challenges their mental picture of the celebrities they worship. That and plants who deliberately attack and derail threads because their clients are put in a unfavorably light can make the gossip sharing experience rather unpleasant. Though I would hope that people who love to share (while making sure nobody figures out who they are) would rather focus on the appreciation of posters than the haters.
