John King of CNN and Dana Bash of CNN are DIVORCING!!
They have been living in separate homes for several months. Their baby is not even one year old yet.
Their marriage sure didn't last long.
I noticed John King flirting with one of blonde congressional correspondents on CNN a couple months ago and commented on it here on Datalounge because it was so apparent.
Was it John King who had a problem with prescription drugs causing him to slur his words and appear unbalanced once?
I wasn't expecting this. I thought they were doing fine.
So he converted to Judaism for nothing?
Was he the object of a BI about a tv correspondent having a torrid affair (which led to this marriage?) or was it that guy who catches child predators?
John King is too good-looking for her anyway. Too bad he's straight. King and Cooper would look good together.
It was nice of them to wait until after Mitt Romney won the Illinois Primary before announcing the news.
Here's an item from 'Blind Gossip' from February 2012:
Two broadcast journos are currently living apart. Like many people, both have had complexities in their personal lives leading up to their own, now troubled union. Will they divorce? Only time will tell. For now, he has been spotted repeatedly staying at an apartment building with another woman rumored to work at the same network. Unfortunately for him, his new neighbors aren’t too thrilled about it.
Why would his new neighbors care? Is that implying there is loud fucking going on? If it is about John King, I'm not surprised. He has BDF for days.
Most of the comments at Blind Gossip seem to think it refers to John King & Dana Bash.
Thanks, R7, I think that's it.
I guess they're still able to work together. They've been covering the Republican primaries lately. John King has been at the Magic Wall, and Dana Bash has been at the election precincts phoning in the results to him and Wolf Blitzer.
He's a handsome guy.
I wonder if Kathy Griffin had anything to do with it?
I'd ride him seven ways to Sunday.
Boozer John realized what a shrew she is.
Is he fucking Poppy Harlow?
Can someone who converted to Judiasm take it back? Serious question here.
Was his flirting with this correspondent more or less conspicuous than Anderson Cooper's chronic flirting with Sanjay Gupta?
Where do I get my foreskin back?
Do closet cases always marry uglky girls?
Dana Bash is so weird looking. She looks like a bug, like Jiminy Cricket.
Maybe John needs a magic board in the bedroom.
R18 Since when does Anderson flirt with Sanjay?
I loved him in Brothers Should Do It.
Dana Bash looks like her head was in a vise as someone was choking her to push her eyeballs out.
She also looks like a younger version of Andrea Mitchell. (Not a compliment)
I'm a neighbor of theirs and last May 1 very late at night I heard her scream at John "We blow away Osama bin-Laden and YOU'RE FUCKING WASTED ON CNN! THIS WAS YOUR MOMENT! THIS MARRIAGE IS HANGING BY A THREAD!" And then I heard John sobbing, with TODDLERS & TIARAS playing in the background.
John King showed up drunk and slurring the Sunday night that Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden had been killed.
Bash probably considered it cheating every time King interviewed McCain. The way King sucks McCain off, how could she not?
She looks like she has FAS and isn't a particularly good reporter and he seems gayer than David Gregory.
The marriage started falling apart on Halloween. They went to a Halloween party with John in drag. And John looked prettier than Dana.
R2, how in the world would you know whether they have been doing fine or not in their personal life?
Hopefully, he hadn't given up his foreskin.
We welcome you back son, Fr. O'Malley
She seems like a nicer person than he does, but the Gods were not kind to her in the looks department.
Good to see he's moved on so quickly.
Since the blind item says he's been staying with another female CNN correspondent, maybe it is the regular blonde congressional reporter which I saw him blatantly flirting with on air.
He certainly lost interest in Dana quickly.
Both John and Dana have been married twice now.
Maybe Dana was more interested in having a baby before her biological clock ran out than she is interested in John. She is 40 and just had her first baby 10 months ago.
It's funny how this one Datalounge poster is so fascinated with John converting to judaism.
The poster breaks it up in EVERY John King-Dana Bawh thread as if it is a gargantuan deal.
Apparently, it's a gargantuan deal to this one poster.
Wow, didn't see this coming!
sorry, 'brings it up in EVERY John King-Dana Bash thread'
Kate Baldwin flirts like crazy with him. He flirts back but she is really obvious. Is it her? She's very pretty.
[quote]The way King sucks McCain off, how could she not?
Actually, John and Dana are both Republicans as are most of the reporters and anchors at CNN. He cheated on Dana with another CNNer? Wow, juicy. I wonder who it is.
She has an eating disorder.
I was thinking it might be Kate Baldwin too.
He and my regular FB must have been separated at birth. they could be twins.
Kate 'Baldwin' is actually Kate Bolduan, but it's pronounced the way you all have spelled it.
She's very cute and I like hearing her reporting.
Do you think John King is involved with Erin Burnett? Or is it Brianna Keiler?
There is NOT some universal consensus that John King is "very good looking." I think he's odd looking.
I hope its not Brianna Keiler, she is awesome.
He's attractive in an odd sort of way. Though, I bet he might be a hot bear.
Why isn't anyone speculating that he might be slippin' it to me?
R45, Erin Burnett is engaged to be married to a Wall Street finance guy.
Yes, it is either Brianna or Kate.
I saw and heard him flirint with one of those two.
That wouldn't stop John King, R50
John King's intellect and knowledge along with his attractive looks are turn-ons.
I don't see why he married Dana Bash if he didn't love her and if they were not compatible.
Dana Bash is difficult to listen to.
But a lot of the material she has to report on is not very interesting, so it is difficult for her to make it interesting.
She is still difficult to listen to in that her verbal skills are not particularly great.
This was the 2nd marriage for both of them, so it already had a higher likelihood of divorce.
King already has 2 teenagers from his first marriage.
[quote]I don't see why he married Dana Bash if he didn't love her and if they were not compatible.
Because marrying a Jewish woman and converting to her faith is a good way to get ahead in American media/show business.
who wants to see me naked??
I think John King is odd looking too, sometimes he looks ok, but he has a twisted mouth, a strange nose, something is off.
He will probably stay Jewish now that he has gone to the trouble of converting.
Candy, I'd rather see Wolf Blitzer naked.
[quote]She is still difficult to listen to in that her verbal skills are not particularly great.
She's also VERY long winded, she'll go on and on and it was funny to watch Anderson Cooper becoming visibly exasperated with her on some of her reports because she wouldn't wrap things up faster.
R59. He'll probably being nondenomiational. He's not stuck to anything, obviously.
All married men are unhappy. Celebs just have the money to do something about it. Dump the frau John!!! Yeah!!!
Bash, who grew up in Montvale, New Jersey, had been married to Jeremy Bash, the Chief of Staff to Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.
King, from Boston, Massachusetts, has a son and a daughter - both teenagers - from his first marriage.
Can't a brother try to find some new pussy outside of the workplace?!?
good point, R65!
seems like hooking up with not only one, but two CNN reporters might get him a dubious reputation
If r40 is right, no wonder most of CNN is up Romney's ass every primary night.
I think he's with Kate or Brianna, too.
But if Dana's former husband is Leon Panetta's Chief of Staff, doesn't that mean she might be a Democrat?
She's never sounded like a Democrat to me, in fact she was caught saying something a while back that would lead most people to believe she's rooting for the GOP and John King has said that he thought it was a "shame" that conservatives are battling each other instead of focusing on President Obama. He's not supposed to express any kind of opinion. It's as bad as Anderson always saying that there's "plenty" to criticize President Obama about. So much for CNN and their neutrality.
"she was caught saying something a while back that would lead most people to believe she's rooting for the GOP"
Which was . . .?
I don't think John King likes Erin Burnett much at all. I don't think most of the regular political talkers on CNN like her very much. They seem to be trying to tolerate her. She is struggling along.
Has there been any comment on this from the National Organization for Marriage?
It's probably,Kate not Brianna.Good for him. Dana must have given the best blow jobs in the business to hold on to that man. He was Beauty and she was the Beast in that relationship.
Maybe he's with Gloria Borger?
According to Wiki, Kate Bolduan is married. Don't know if she still is.
Brianna Keilar appears to be single.
No way R83, she never shuts up and lives to hear the sound of her own voice. She is SO pompous and a know-it-all.
Maybe it's Jessica Yellin?
Maybe he's fucking that black chick that's on Anderson's show.
Or Don Lemon.
Isha? Nah, she's cute, but I don't think they even know each other.
Rightwingers really are the dumbest motherfuckers on earth. Look at this comment from the WP article about the separation:
[quote]This is the guy with all the questions for Newt about his marriages. Typical. Leftists, if it weren't for double standards, they'd have no standards at all..
I didn't realize that King attempted to legislate morality and family values. I didn't realize that King continuously went on television to lecture people about morality and family values.
How does one become this incredibly stupid?
I want to suck Ed Henry's dick. I don't care if he did move to Fox, I still want to blow him.
Yuck, R90. He's so doughy and ordinary. Nothing special.
What's funny about that comment, R89, is that most people on the left consider King to be a rightwinger. He just can't seem to please anybody (except whoever his new girlfriend is).
Their marriage was a sham from the start.
Maybe not surprising that Bash & King are still able to work together as professionals -- after all, they have to function together as parents of their baby.
But what about Bash being able to work together with The Other Woman? That might not go so well.
Can't wait to find out who she is.
I called this blind item back when DL first posted it!
JK is definitely a right winger, he even said his parents were too.
[quote]most people on the left consider King to be a rightwinger. He just can't seem to please anybody (except whoever his new girlfriend is).
He is a rightwinger. The problem is that most of the rightwing in this country is now so far right (fascist), that a regular rightwinger like King is viewed as "liberal."
Are King's parents wealthy -- part of the top 1%?
Please, even Anderson flirts with Brianna. Every time she does a special report he compliments her at least three times like she's a child.
I always thought she must be related to a producer or one of Anderson's boss's since he so blatantly praises her over a simply story.
Jeff Toobin also had an affair and a child while he was married. Those CNN people are a very sexy bunch.
If I am not mistaken, Brianna Keilar got married about a year ago. I thought she was cute and had gay voice. They even talked about her being a good golfer, which got my hopes up...then they showed on air pictures of her wedding or something.
Kate Bolduan has gay voice for days. I think she's cute too, but I watch too much CNN. Hell, I even have a little crush on Gloria Borger and Donna Brazille. So, maybe I am just horny as hell.
But, true story. I heard Bolduan and John King flirting HEAVY today on air, and my first thought was "wow, maybe that BI about a CNN anchor having an affair with another CNN reporter is about these two guys!" Then, I visit DL to find out it is true about Dana and John.
And, John King is just as funny looking as Dana is, if not more. But, he does have BDF.
True, R97 - conservatives thought John King was part of the liberal media who was trying to destroy Newt Gingrich about his marriages before the South Carolina primary. They don't seem to realize he is probably a Republican. Way off base.
John King should hook up with Anderson
One of the funniest things I've read on DL was about why John King would choose a woman like Dana Bash.
Not verbatim, but it was something like "John King chose Dana Bash because after a long selection process, she was the only candidate that could accomodate his massive sizemeat orally, anally and vaginally."
It probably sounds stupid now, but I laughed at the time I read it.
Brianna Keilar got married a couple of years ago. She's gorgeous, but I think she's straight.
The woman at CNN that the blind item refers to could be someone low-profile like an assistant or camerawoman etc. It doesn't say it is a news anchor.
He was indeed totally wasted while reporting on Bin Laden's killing. They pulled him off after a segment or two. He had obviously gotten called into the station suddenly. I was frankly surprised there was no reporting on it anywhere. CNN totally protected him. But they did get him off the air.
R107, he may have taken a sleeping pill and thus, the slurred speech.
Or he may have had a drink or two.
But he wasn't necessarily drinking before he was suddenly called in to anchor.
It could have been a sleeping pill.
He definitely sounded like someone who had popped an Ambien and was fighting to stay awake.
r96 in fact, his parents are so right wing, they hate him now because they don't like Jews.
Media people like them are phonier and bigger assholes than any politician.
These DC-types make my skin crawl because they add to the detriment of the political process and discourse, esp. when they've convinced themselves that because they get shit from both sides, that means they're objective and doing their jobs.
I've stopped watching it all because I couldn't take the lies.
Watching the clip at R114, I would love to know what Bash meant by "It's like the Arab-Israeli Conflict."
I hope this idiot hasn't the nerve to think that American media is objective in its coverage of the conflict. She's really delusional if that's what she was going for when making an analogy regarding the criticism/emails she gets that question her objectivity.
I think Ron Paul is completely nuts, but it's quite obvious the media was proactive in silencing him or dismissing him when he did better than other candidates.
I mean they've pretended that Newt, Cain and Santorum were/are all threats to Mitt when we know it's complete bullshit, yet Paul is the one who is always a glaring omission in their coverage.
"I've stopped watching it all because I couldn't take the lies."
Dana Bash looks like someone who starves herself to stay thin and cannot conceal how unhappy that makes her.
I agree R124
We've noticed a certain chemistry between him and Kate the last month or so and wondered where Dana was in all this. Then we saw she was reporting from the field while he was reporting from the studio. Now it all makes sense (I guess!?)
I think it was last week when I was watching John King and one of those blondes (I'd say it was Kate or Mary Snow) said to John, "Glad you're back. We miss you when you're gone." I nearly fell off my chair and thought, "I wonder how Dana feels about that." It was really flirtatious.
I think that was Kate, r127.
Dana Bash seems so bug eyed and tragic.
It's got to be hard for a woman in this society to look like that -- not just plain but downright homely. At least she didn't grow up in Hollywood surrounded by beauties, like poor Tori Spelling. It's a wonder Dana Bash has managed to snag 2 husbands (both better looking than she).
[quote]"Glad you're back. We miss you when you're gone."
I guess that must've caused some snickering in the control room by those CNN staffers who know what's going on. It's a bit much, she should cool it a little.
test -- keeps eating my posts.
Kate Bolduan is married and according to this 2010 item, lives in an expensive house. The blind item said he was often seen at the "apartment" of his mistress. Has Kate split from her husband and moved out?
So does anyone know who at CNN he was cheating with?
Maybe it wasn't an on-air person
That's what I said above, R139. The BI does not say it was an anchor.
Sorry about them, but a number of people at CNN can't seem to stay or get married. Brooke Baldwin engaged until she got the anchor gig. Alison Kosik, screwing Kelly for ages then leaving her husband when she got the CNN job.
A number of others.
I am very sad to hear this i was just thinking how cute and sweet Dana is!!!to me, she is a little doll I don 't find John King good looking at. All!!
Next New Year's Eve... Anderson Cooper, Kathy Griffin AND John King!
Dana was on CNN trying to convince the viewers that Republicans have all the leverage when the debt ceiling debate comes up. She is such a right wing tool.
Kate Bolduan is going to be one of the co-anchors for one of the morning shows.
Oh, and back to Dana: She was great running after Bachmann a week ago.
Anyone ever figure out who John King had the affair with? Kate Bolduan?
Find it hard to take him seriously as a political reporter. He looks like he should be doing the sports wrap-up for the 11pm slot in Cleveland.
Or washing his hair, R148.
You can turn your back on Judaism whether you converted or were born to it. You'd be referred to as an apostate if you walked away. I'm sure people do it all the time, just like with other religions.
There are such NASTY people in this world! You should follow what your mothers taught you......if you can't say anything nice, DONT SAY ANYTHING. NOW YOU NASTY PEOPLE, go ask for God's forgiveness and wash ur mouth out with soap!!
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
