Anyone else think that he's going to be a really big star?
He reminds me of Gosling in that, although he's very attractive, his looks are offbeat enough that it'll be easy for him to disappear into a role.
I don't think so, I think he's the contemporary version of Chris O'Donnell, who was primed to be a big star but it never happened.
I don't think he has anything in common with Gosling.
And I find Josh downright unattractive. Total troll face.
meh, I don't see the appeal.
Then again, I never understood the appeal of Gyllenhaal, LaBeouf, Affleck, or Gosling (among others). So many actors cast as leading men these days just seem...blah. Not particularly intelligent, charismatic, handsome or talented.
Doesn't he look just a touch... er... um... 'simple?' It's the slightly crossed eyes...
R9, that's what I was going to say. With the blonde hair now for the role in Hunger Games, he looks downright mentally disabled.
I think he grew into one fine looking man.
nice kid. really short, not sure when the boyish looks wear off if he will still be attractive. I think he'll have a short run, and then in his 30s return to tv doctor or lawyer role.
He raped my face when we were filming "Bridge to Terabithia."
I still love him tho
If he's shit in the Hunger Games it'll be all over for him. Not popular casting.
Had him. He's a 4 out of 10 at best.
Isn't he like 4 feet tall? He will guest star in some block busters but can't see leading man material in him.
It looks like even Jennifer Lawrence kind of towers over him. And forget Liam Hemsworth. He looks like he could eat Josh for dinner.
I guess he gave one hell of an audition because I have no idea why they picked him for THG. Almost every young actor tried out for these roles.
Okay, r8, you're welcome to have the short, mouth-breathing dimwit Josh Hutcherson all to yourself. Enjoy!
Too bad he's straight. He'd make one fine pocket gay. And he would get laid a lot more often, too. How many girls are into little guys anyway?
None, thank God!
He's in one the most highly anticipated movies by women 12 and up. I don't think he'll have any trouble getting girls, even if he is 3 feet all.
He did a video for Gay-Straight alliance for HighSchoolers. Who cares if he is two feet tall, he's a giant in my book.

Josh actually fits the description of the character pretty well. Peeta is supposed to be medium height and stocky. I'm surprised they stuck to that.
He's pretty short, though, isn't he?
He and cutie-pie-hobbit Darren Criss are gonna be battling for cutey-pie-hobbit roles for years to cum, er come.
There was a thread here about a year ago showing pictures of Josh and V. Hudgens attending Coachella. He looked particularly Middle Earthian those.
Peeta is described as stocky build and medium height.
That is not Josh Hutcherson, he is only 5'5"-5'6" and has a slight build.
Still, he is a good actor and started the straight-but-not narrow campaign. So he has my respect and I think he will pull off the role, but lets not pretend like he matches the description. Peeta was physically quite strong.
Liam's nips look like they're about to break free in r28's pic
Here's Josh's nips
He's foul and far too fond of cocaine for his own good. He'll be recast by the third movie at this rate. I can't blame him too much for his tendency towards addiction or his revolting shortness, however--his Mom was obviously drinking while she was pregnant.
Josh will be appearing on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday. Check your local TV listings for time.
I think Josh Hutcherson is a better star and actor than Andrew Garfield.
You will see Josh in the New Movie that is coming out in NOV 2012 Red Dawn. Check it out.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
