LONGMONT, Colo. -- A part-time embalmer is accused of stealing gold crowns and fillings from corpses, and then selling them to pawn shops. Adrian Kline, 43, was indicted by a Boulder County Grand Jury on eight counts of providing false information to a pawn broker and two counts of providing false information to a secondhand dealer. Prosecutors allege Kline removed gold crowns from bodies prior to embalming, and even stole dental gold from some cremated remains. Several bags of gold crowns and the remnants of gold crowns were recovered from area pawn shops and secondhand dealers, said Longmont Police spokesman Jeffrey Satur. Bail is set at $2500.
