Why Aren't There Porn Sites Created For Straight Women?
It's always for straight men out there. Isn't this the post-Sex and the City whores generation? They sure like Robert Pattinson and co. Why not create something for them to jerk their pussies to? Make the men act like random pieces of meat for once.
- OP, have you never heard of LiveJournal? Fanfiction IS straight woman porn. That's what gets them moist, not graphic visuals (usually).
- Then why do teenage girls have ten billion magazines with centerfolds featuring all the teenage boys they drool over?
- The centerfolds are usually not "raw sex appeal" and do not stand alone. They are accompanied by all kinds of "get to know him" information: What is his favorite food? What is his favorite color? How does he like to spend free time?
They are all components in building the fantasy.
- R2, they love to look at hot guys. They just don't (usually) want to see their genitalia up close and in action.
- Some do. I have straight female friends who enjoy gay male porn. Some like lesbian porn, too.
- Gay men hate it when straight women assume gay men are just male versions of themselves. Op, why are you falling into the same trap....in reverse? Women are not aroused by the same things men are. Graphic visuals don't do it for the vast majority.
- Have you ever been to cfnm.net? That's by women, for women (though I'm sure there are lots of men subscribers).
- Jesus H. Christ. I just took a look at cfnm.net.
That must be where straight women get their revenge for a lot of what goes on in straight porn.
- In case you can't go to a NSFW site at the moment, cfnm = "clothed female, naked male"
- Obscure site CFNM not withstanding, female "porn" is not the billion dollar industry that male porn is. Not even close.
If someone wanted to make big bucks by exploiting what women truly find arousing, all they would need to do is harness the vast, vast world of on-line erotic fiction. Right now it's dominated by amateur authors (most with a profound lack of talent) who allow free access. Slash is the fastest growing genre.
- Testosterone is what causes sexual libido focused on the "act" or visuals. Men have ten times as much. Female hormones estrogen, progesterone, and oxytocin (not sure if the last one is a female hormone but it's related) - anyone those hormones create a different kind of lust, more focused on romance, attachment, and bonding - dreams of happily ever after and all that rot. Well, it's all rot, but different flavors. Give women more testosterone and they'd probably perk up vis a vis pornography.
- Is there any kind of natural vitamin that either has testosterone in it, or the qualities of testosterone?

- Here is a porn site that women love. The women in my office keep it open in their browsers all day.

- Do you want to grow a mustache R12?
- NO
- Trashy bodice ripper novels OP. You know? The ones with a ripped half naked guy with long lustrous locks holding a gorgeous half naked woman on the cover?
- Isn't that what jezebel is?
- Pron has it all wrong.

- Straight women don't want to pay!
Seriously, there's so much free or low-cost
"erotica" out there, that there's no money in a traditoinal porn site.

Link.

Misogyny rears its ugly head again. Gay men are also believed to have female brains. Deal with it.
- When have women ever had to pay for sex, virtual or otherwise?
- I know quite a few women (straight and gay) who say they really get off on gay male porn (as the couple in "The Kids Are All Right" did). For straight women, I suppose it has a similar kind of appeal that "lesbian" (so-called) porn has for straight men--double the sexual objects. Some lesbians I've spoken to say they just enjoy seeing the kind of immediate, very graphic sexual action that gay porn features--and they get impatient with what gets classified as straight or lesbian "erotica." Obviously, mine is only anecdotal knowledge and a pretty small "N=" as social scientists say, but it's interesting to consider. I also think more gay men than would care to admit may find straight porn arousing and may indeed, pardon the pun, insert themselves into the woman's role.
Desire is not a rational thing.
- Erotica is mostly by and for women. And it's often free.
As far as visual porn, there may be less interest in it from women but there definitely is some interest. A lot just make due with gay or straight porn made for men.
- All straight women are only a kiss away from being lesbiana!

I think there is a lot of interest, but it's still not as acceptable for women. Society still views women with strong sexual appetites as whores. I'll bet a lot of people (maybe most??) view a woman who likes porn as "skanky" where they would say a man who likes it is just "being a typical guy."
There was something about this in that Kinsey movie starring Liam Neeson. There was a quote where someone said, "no one wants to think about their mothers and grandmothers having sex."
- Here is one.

- I'm a straight woman. I watch videos on X-tube and X-hamster pretty much nightly. I like male or female solo stuff/glory holes/gay and straight sex. I've never been into the kind of porn that's supposed to be marketed for women, the romantic, storytelling stuff. I just want to see some raw sex and people enjoying it or at least doing a good job of faking enjoyment. I hate silent clips, I only watch the ones where there's moaning, grunting or whatever.
- Totally agree with, R28!
I've been watching straight porn since I was a teen and I love it. Nothing gets me off than watching porn. For me the visuals of fucking is a turn on. I'm not into romance - just give me straight up fucking!

- If that CFNM site is designed for women, it's utter bullshit. There is no authentic reversal of fortune in their scenarios - the women that are portrayed on that site (described as if by a 10 year old as "sophisticated" or "glamourous" or "mean") are classic female archetypes of male sexual fantasy. There aren't alot of straight guys who would not be turned on by that. The fantasy of being captured and humiliated by a bevy of beauties has long been a patriarchal theme in fiction and pornography. Ask any het if he would like to be stripped naked and used and abused by a dominating female and he'd say "sure!" They'd love to be forced to perform their gym exercises naked while cheerleaders looked on, or being used as a sex slave by two powerful women in the office. The only true way to emasculate a male in a reversal of fortune scenario is to have his abusers male. Straighthell.net is a site that would be a het guy's worst nightmare.
- Why do idiots like r26, insist that everyone is "afraid" of their sexuality, just because they acknowledge that men and women view sex differently. No one wants to think of their father having sex either. Hell, no one wants to think of their parents in a sexual way.
- This thread is complete BS... The best selling novel in the US is fifty shades of grey... So we can only assume that women want the hallmark lovey dovey BS. that seems to be the prevelant notion. ( I hope my sarcasm came across there). And alongside fifty shades are vampire novels... Hmmmm... Seems to me men still have NO CLUE what women want. I have to say I am more interested in the passion of the act than the act itself but that only means I want porn with an actual storyline. I read novels to get off because I am more interested in reading about an orgy than the camera angle showing how large a man can stretch a woman's asshole. THAT is NOT geared to women in the slightest. However, if a Joey W Hill novel were made into a movie HOLY HELL. Women everywhere would have no need for anything but a toy again. We are visual, we just don't want the same visuals men do. Pull your heads out of your asses and man up.
