Seriously? I was thinking I would sell soul to devil for that age-defying jawline. He's set for life.
Yeah, we should all age as well as he is. AND I don't even like him.
not aging well ? isn't he 50? Are you fucksing crazy??
What's wrong with a little mussy hair?
I think he was a total dickon GG he was stealing all the attention from Miss Golden Globe and when he read Elizabeth mcGovergn's name he gave this look like he fucked her..
Rob Lowe wears wigs and hairpieces and toupees - every day.
Last night he had a longer hair wig on because he has a new movie on the Lifetime channel viewing this come Saturday where he plays the real life husband who killed both of his wives, and that man had a little bit longer hair look.
I agree that Rob's wig was messed up and untidy last night and did not look very good.
Usually he wears a shorter, more tidy wig/toupee.
Also the slight beard growth looked a little scruffy.
But his face is aging very well.
I think he looks pretty damn good. (Does he really wear a rug? )
Ye, R9, it is completely obvious and has been for a long time.
He actually looks good there, OP. Maybe it depends on the lighting. Sometimes he looks good, sometimes he doesn't. Most of the time I don't think he looks so good on "Parks." But I saw him in some interview a few weeks ago where I thought he looked fantastic.
I think he looks pretty good; certainly better than 90% of the people I meet.
He does not wear a wig.
Gerard Butler is so ugly.
My sister was behind him in a Santa Barbara Starbucks and said he was really small.
R7 = Amy Poehler
...I'm pretty sure he's had a stroke at some point, one side of his mouth is paralyzed.
He's one of those people who can not pull off the scruffy looks - he's too much of a pretty boy. He needs to stay clean shaven and keep his hair neatly combed.
his wife is always so spacey....She just screams painkiller addiction.
r14 - please post a pic of yourself. Thanks in advance.
[quote]Gerard Butler is so ugly.
I agree. Not only is he ugly, but a fucking slob. I don't know how he keeps getting parts or why the fat fraus think he's sexy. And he's not professional at all - who goes to a press conference looking like this?
Also forgot to add that RC revealed they asked Marilyn Chris to come back to play Wanda Wolek in the last week, but she was busy doing a movie (at age 81!).
He also wanted to bring Carlo Hesser back one last time, but didn't have time.
He also would have reunited John and Natalie much MUCH sooner if he knew the show was not going online.
He also revealed that he originally had more planned for Tina during her return: instead of doing the right thing and handing their mother's inheritance back over to Todd. Tina was supposed to spitefully keep the inheritance (after getting a lecture by Viki on why people don't like her) and Todd was then going to frame Tina for their mother's murder. He wanted her to be arrested while remarrying Cord and have the police drag her off down the aisle - he saw that as a classic Tina-thing to have happen to her. RC decided against it, arguing that the fans would have been up in arms over Tina not being able to reunite with Cord. So they rewrote the whole story with Tina taking Viki's lecture to heart and doing the right thing (giving the money back) and Todd framing Tomas for the murder of Victor.
Sorry - wrong thread!!!!!!!
r25, never thinking he would ever do something like that
Yeah, I could see Rob Lowe and Marilyn Chris together.
That would be hot, r27.
Not aging well? He's almost 50! He may be past the point of being desirable, but he's not outright repulsive like most men his age.
OP, you should only HOPE to age as well as Rob Lowe. Some people just don't get it, do they?
Not aging well...my ass. He is hot!
Shave, God dammit!!!
And we all know OP is going to age like a dream and look 30 when he's 70.
He has some hair problems in OP's photo, but other than that he looks very good.
I was hoping he would have walked out with Snow White. The show needed some humor especially after Ricky was neutered before the show began.
I never much liked him, but then I prefer "handsome" to "pretty."
He's always worn on the surface his vanity and the effort that goes with it. It's a high maintenance look.
A few years ago he probably looked his best, but lately he's showing some age in the drawn, burn-victim skin slathered in too many emollients and creams.
He'd look better if looked less fastidiously maintained.
Actually OP, I think he's aged incredible. Though now, finally, yes; he's becoming a bit vampiric with the milk white skin and heavy lipstick and accent makeup and hair coloring.
When you realize how he could look, considering his age and the fact he's been rich and famous for decades and lived quite hard for a while, he should look like the Crypt Keeper.
I agree OP - he's got some bad wigs/dye jobs.
I heard him cover it up on "Kelly" by saying they dyed his hair gray for the Drew Peterson movie. I swear that's why he took the movie….so they could dye it darker when he was done and he'd have an excuse.
anyone like him better with grey hair -see R23
I like the gray color on him, but the style is a tad messy.
He looks great.
R38 is a fucking idiot!
When he was on Live with Kelly, they accidentally showed a closeup from the side, and he looked at least 7-8 years older than his "official" age...
And yeah, what's up with the buffant?
Can't wait to see him in the Drew Peterson movie on Saturday!
Lowe's mouth is messed up and makes him look like a stroke victim.
He's not aging well. He's beginning to look like an old bull-dyke. All he needs is the cane.
He just looks weird in that pic because of the stage makeup and his mouth is caught in a momentary twist.
Here he is in July 2011 -- for age 47 I think he looks terrific.
Rob looks okay. It's Gerard who disturbs me. What the hell?!?
OP, what are you smoking? I thought Gerard didn't look so hot.
I can't believe OP looked at a photo of Rob Lowe and Gerard Butler and is complaining about Lowe's looks.
Only photograph me from the right slightly below my jawline. The light hits me best there.
R.L., ready for his close up
[quote]and when he read Elizabeth mcGovergn's name he gave this look like he fucked her..
I kind of want to know what his I-fucked-her "look" looks like. Is there a universal "I fucked him/her" look? I imagine it's subtle but you could probably catch it nearly every time if you knew what to look for.
Also, I wonder what RL's real hairline must look like without the wigs by now...
uh, OP, a shave, a haircut and maybe a good night sleep and he's stunningly pretty again. Maybe you don't like pretty, but he's aging better than pretty much anyone else in their mid 50s.
Get his smug little ugly face off of Parks and Recreation. He's ruining the show. He actually ruins every show he's in. Why does he have to be in every scene? He's destroying the chemistry of the show that was so amazing.
Looks pretty good to me for any age and I am sure out of the league of the OP in every respect. Silly post.
He looks like an older Eric mcCormack in tht pic.
I think that's just an unflattering photograph and hair style. He looks good on "Parks & Rec" and I love his character. I think he's looking very good at 48.
Lowe looks exactly like my younger brother except my brother has a full head of hair that's gone completely gray/white.
Both of them are very handsome men.
I saw him with his 10 speed in front of Staples in Santa Barbara about 3 yrs ago. VERY skinny.
Au contraire mon ami.....he'll be good looking his entire life just like George Hamilton & RJ Wagner. Some people are just fuckin lucky that way.
I ran the DNA on his hair: He is from a small, rural town in Korea.
One of the few str8 guys in Hollywood.
wow, he wears a wig? I had no idea! he looks great!
I seem to remember r67 that rob was rumored to have been with a few guys in the 80's.
Can anyone back up my possible memory?
He looks absolutely fine. The best ever looks for a man of his age? No. But, perfectly fine. Not aging poorly at all.
yeah I agree with the general sentiment here that Rob Lowe has aged better than almost anyone I've seen in my life. I did see him in person once in Santa Barbara and it's true he is surprisingly small i.e. very thin.
In OP's photo it looks like Lowe is going for the part of Will in a remake of Will & Grace
The mussy hair, shadow beard, etc. ARE the reason you don't think he's aging well. The older men get, the more they need to clean up to remain looking as sharp. Age + the hipster look don't work well together in my opinion. Adopting younger set trends is never a good look on anyone past 40 at the latest, for men or women.
R87 = Mr Blackwell
R87 is right. See also David Duchnovny. That mussy, tousled look like you just got out of bed is sexy when you're under 35, but over that age - put a comb in your hair and properly grow out the facial hair, or stay clean shaven.
R89, nope, common sense. Johnny Depp is probably the worst case scenario in that regard. He looks like a clown in his typical hipster garb.
Whoops I'm R90, and I meant to address R88, not R89, in my comment
But lord look at Gerard Butler at the airport recently. He's not exactly the picture of perfect ageing either.
Rob Lowe has aged better and is better looking than 99% of you bitches on this thread. And I've never ever thought it looked like his hair is a wig.
R90, Mickey Rourke's youthful hipster clothing and hairstyle are THE WORST for someone 'mature', truly cartoonish. Depp is a close second and seems headed in that same direction though.
R93, basically I agree with you, but still think he'd look better if he styled himself more age appropriate.
Thanks 87. Great interview. He really hates his guts.
What are you idiots talking about. He looks fantastic for his age. None of you will ever look so good at even 40.
He's hot imo.
He looks weird, like he's had too many "beauty" treatments to keep him youthful looking.
He has jowls even when he was a teen.
His hair color can't be natural.
Please! You bishes ragging on his looks would kill to look like him and you know it. Why? Because of all the cock and ass you'd get.
How is he aging bad? and he does not wear a wig, I don't know why the ho's on here rag on him so much.
nobody ages well...NOBODY!
oh I don't know. Clooney has done well imo. Cary Grant. Sophia Loren - she may finally be bad looking but through her 60s still looked great. I always thought Katherine Hepburn was pleasant to look at, even with the Parkinsons tremor. Georgia O'Keefe looked better as an old woman. There are a few.
