Why does Nathan Fillion look so fat on "Castle"?

He doesn't seem that heavy in photos when he's off the show. Maybe they need to hire a new wardrobe person.

But not even rumors, or anything concrete, or any "definite hints" like it is usually with Hollywood gays before they come out. Also I have a pretty good gaydar and he just doesn't ping. • I have seen some very flattering photos of Nathan lately ( early 2013)in previews of Castle. The puffiness in his face seems to be gone, which makes me think he was on some sort of medication. I was channel surfing one night and I took notice of Stana Katic ie., her beauty as well as her acting abilities. I made a mental note to watch this show. • I doubt Stana REALLY has an eating disorder. It's just one of those things that people say when an actress is very thin. That said, I do think her face would look better if she gained some weight. Her cheeks are rather sunken in, and it ages her. Seamus has the same problem. I think Nathan looks better than he looked in Season 4. He's not quite as fat. I noticed Jon has gotten kind of doughy, but it somehow works on him.

• The way Nathan acted on Castle's last episode when he was saying he was in fact "showing off a little bit" on the ski slopes, his sing-songy voice and hand gestures were soooooo apparently gay I was left wandering why is he making CASTLE look gay???

• Nathan's not thin, but he's not as big as he was last season. The costume designer, Luke Reichle, picks some of the most unflattering outfits possible for him. I wonder if he secretly hates Nathan.

• Stana's tall so gaining 10-15 lbs wouldn't make a big difference. It would mostly soften her face and give her some t&a. She would still be thin.

• In interviews they have said that Luke designs the clothes but Nathan's clothes are actually tailored and custom-made in Italy. Same thing with his shoes, custom-made. Not Luke's fault. They have to come up with ways to hide his girth. Nothing they can do to hide his turkey neck and triple chins though...

• What would all you queens be saying if Nate was grossly UNDERweight? Oh, you'd probably be singing his praises and salivating over him. He's fine the way he is. He's never been a small man, anyway.
