Fametracker

Who used to post there? Haven't been there in years, I was surprised to see they are still running. I actually found this site through their message board, it was right after Tom Cruise jumped the couch on Oprah.

• The content of the site is still there but it hasn't been updated since 2007 and the message boards are no longer active.

• I used to post under the name Pachinko. I was one of the famous "Fametracker cunts" who emigrated here when the forums shut down. In retrospect, FT was a bore, but I loved it at the time.

• Yeah, once the boards got shut down, it sort of ceased to be for me. Although in those final days, it went down in a blaze of glory as the mods had given up moderating the boards. I still remember a particularly hilarious thread about Jesus Christ as a celebrity.

• Was it run by the same crew that ran TWoP?

• I used to post under the name Peetah and started all the threads with the word 'STARS who...' One day Wing banned all threads about stars looks and something else and it killed the forums. Became a bore. I remember Portia and bstewart. I guess it was the closet thing to DL, I've ever found.

• I appreciate that the mods here don't make themselves into a "personality" like at Fametracker and Two Peas.

• I remember bstewart scolding the posters that we weren't grateful at the end.

• It would really change the dynamic of DL if we had to use a 'username'. People who d,o often get picked on and bullied for some reason. Maybe bstewart posts here now.

• bstewart posts at one of the Fametracker off shoots, Crown Princess Marie Chantal board. As you can see by it's name, it's completely inane and mostly frau central.

• I remember Fametracker and their insane mod who would banned a whole thread of posters. Talk about power tripping. I remember I posted on a thread, went on vacation for about a week, while on vacay posters must have went while (I don't know), anyway I got back on line, and I was banned. Which didn't make any sense, because all you had to do was resign. Anyway, I wish this site would make poster have a nickname. It's hard to read posts with various anonymous people. Some of which post idiotic comments than attempting to answer a thread's topic.

• Well, I can stand up to bullies, but I wonder why posters want to jump on people with a nickname on this site. When, most message boards require the use of one.

• R15, in some respects the DL isn't like most 'message boards'. Surely you've noticed more than just the anonymity?
