Johnny Weir's "Glitter and Ice" campaign for Mac makeup has launched and provocative photos indicate the skating superstar is in full glacial glam mode.

• Speaking of ice queen, I heard him in an interview with Howard Stern where he says he rarely has sex. The interview was given in January and he claims he hadn't had sex since the previous August. Either he is Queen of BS or he takes his training and career to an excessive level.

• He's about as far out of the closet a celebrity can get without buying an ad on the front page of the NY Times saying he'll be blowing his boyfriend live on Cam4 at such and such a time (tokens appreciated!). I think he's a very talented man with a set of stainless steel balls that are all too unusual among most of today's entertainment performers.

• He's no Lady GaGa.

• Johnny Weir is the only international celebrity Figure Skating has today. Yuna is only known in the Korean Community, even outside of Korea. Her LA show was for Koreans living in LA. Nobody remembers Evan whats his face. Only 55 year old women still know the dinosaurs Boitano, Hamilton and Kwan. Johnny Weir is the face of male figure skating.

• Johnny Weir is not competing in skating competitions. So he is not the face of male figure skating.

• Linda and Dean Torvill have divorced. I thought it was so sad. My kids attended the same school as their twins. He's a real shorty. Has anybody else seen the nude skating performance he did for British tv?

• If you were to ask the majority of Americans who is the most famous male figure skater today, they will tell you Johnny Weir. Regardless of whether he is competing or not, he has the exposure. If you ask the 128 or so women who post on the FSU, you will get a different answer, like R10 gives.

• The Japanese and Canadian Boys have much more skill snd finesse, with their swashbuckling techniques, quad jumps and fancy footwork. Johnny Weir is a caftan and earring home grown twinkle toes next to them. He has nowhere near their international stature. Nor their abilities. .. He knows it. The world of skating knows it. Period.
