Is anyone watching this highly enjoyable show? Smart and funny.
I watched a marathon and it's really smart and well written. I love the guidance counselor.
Yes. It's pretty clever. I can't believe how graphic it is about sex. The lead character said something like "24 hours ago Matty was taking my temperature with his meat thermometer." They show a lot of fucking.
I love it! It's like a real life Daria, and the boys are cute!
My favorite guy is Kyle, the "Jenna Lives" stalker. He's really hot.
I forget to mention an episode full of running jokes about anal sex:
The Christian Girl is told "God has a blind spot" and offers her boyfriend her "behymen."
I wanted to like it, but find it a little "too too."
Great show. In a way it has this gay vibe, like Sex and the City or Golden Girls were the show is really all about gay guys and their desire to hook up with other gay guys.
The mom's best friend is totally Patsy Stone and the mom is Eddie with her obsession of her and her daughter being hip. The marriage episode (where mom's friend married a rich guy) is the best episode of the whole series so far.
What about cute Ricky Schwartz who seems to sleep with different girls and now boys too.
What was up with the Ricky character in the finale? Wasn't the actor available or why is he gone the whole time and then you see only his back and no face shot at all?
Is this show actually good or is everyone on this thread like 23
What r13, 23 year olds can't have taste?
It's smarter than the shit peddled to teenage girls by the CW. It's more open about sex, and a bit more realistic with how teens talk and act, even if the actors are in their twenties,
r13 I second what r14 said.
The supporting characters are much more interesting than Jenna and her hyperactive eyebrows.
Beau Mirchoff is delicious. Jenna's dad is also a hottie.
Watched the premiere. Entertaining enough though this show definitely has struggled since the charm of the first season.
I assume something must have went down with the dude that plays Ricky, he wasn't in the finale last season and they didn't bring him back before he died.
I do find Beau Mirchoff sexy as balls, enough to keep me watching.
Awkward is back
Both Awkward and Faking It are great shows, as good as most of the premium cable shows. The writing is on the level of Clueless and Mean Girls.
I have been enjoying Awkward on Amazon Instant Video. It's surprisingly good and worth it to see a glimpse of Beu's body (and yummy bubble butt)
YES! He obviously waxes for the show. He looks 10 times sexier with that hairy bod.
the show has gone through a lot of turmoil. poor jennas asian friend left the show never to be seen again. Matty found his biological parent who has held up pretty well for his age according. to matty. the best character on the show is the your welcome girl. she is a riot imo. i cant see the show going on much longer as they have run out of story line. its very much like saved by the bell. we are awiting the final bell to toll on this series.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
