Does anyone here actually remember, Kyle Richards, as a child actress.%0D\
I remember Kym, she was in a lot of things and was v.cute...but Kyle, not at all.
I remember Kyle in Halloween.
Little House on the Prairie.
I remember Kyle from Little House as well. Kim Richards was more famous, for sure. I didn''t even know Kyle was her sister until recently.
Kyle Richards was also a regular on ER
Kyle was the Lorna to Kim''s Liza.
Kyle''s sashayed arm movement while fleeing Michael Myers in Halloween was genius.
I remember Kym as a child actor and her cute little hoarse voice from way back in the day. She was precious. %0D\
Her sister I do not remember at all.
I remember Kim getting shot in the chest in the original "Assault on Precinct 13."
Kyle was adorable on Little House as Mr. Edward''s adopted daughter.
Kyle Richards was also a regular on ER\
Sweetheart, she was essentially a glorified extra.
Kim was everywhere, and I was so disappointed to see how damaged she turned out to be. She was HUGE. I would say she ranked right up there with Tatum O''Neil and Jodie Foster for recognition and work.%0D\
Never heard of Kyle.
Kim was also in that Entebbe film. I saw it recently and thought it was good. There were about 3 Entebbe films at the time, only one of them was meant to be any good, but I can''t remember which one. The one I saw starred Charles Bronson.
Kim was everywhere, and I was so disappointed to see how damaged she turned out to be%0D\
She''s more or less claimed she was the family cash cow and she resents it.
Well, if that is true, then she got the short end of the stick with Kyle and Kathy marrying up and leaving her out.%0D\
Would love to know her real back story.
Kim was also in very edgy stuff like "Assault On Precinct 13", as well as Disney stuff like "Escape From Witch Mountain". Her male counterpart, Ike Eisenmann, never made it as big as Kim. Only mid 2000''s Dakota Fanning comes close.
Sweetheart, she was essentially a glorified extra.\
Not true, she was one of the rotating nurses. She was in a lot of the actions scenes involving a trauma.
I remember Kyle in a sitcom about a maid named Ethel who was a flapper and an angel who took care of children. God, don''t people do background checks on people who raise their kids? I just realized how scary it sounds.
Kim was also engaged to a guy who was brutally murdered.
It''s unbelievable to watch them today on RHOBH and think how young they used to be. I remember when Halloween came out! It makes me feel old.
Like R1 I remember her from the original "Halloween."
Kim was in Hello Larry too. She''s Paris Hilton''s aunt.
Kim was an engaging child actress. But she either didn''t have the drive or the talent for an adult career. That isn''t bad. She might be glad for this.%0D\
As for Kyle Richards, I can say if it wasn''t for [italic]Halloween[/italic], I wouldn''t recall her at all.
I think it was the lack of drive on Kim''s part. She wanted a more normal life.
She was pretty young when her fiance was gunned down. I can see someone dropping out after latching on to security only to have it ripped out so violently.
She''s Paris Hilton''s aunt\
Yes, I think we have just about got that by now.
She was pretty young when her fiance was gunned down%0D\
Was this something that everyone heard about at the time? Was it all over the tabloids?
You know, Kim had a very small part in Black Snake Moan playing Christina Ricci''s mother...and you know, she was quite good....
She also played opposite James Spader in Tuff Turf !
I''ll have to watch Black Snake Moan again. Not a bad movie.%0D\
Don''t forget...Kim was once married to that Davis oil heir and gets something like $20,000 a MONTH in alimony.
She ain''t hurtin
Kyle is not that great of an actress. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the only thing that''s going for her. If it weren''t for the show, people wouldn''t be talking about her.
She ain''t hurtin%0D\
Maybe not financially. Otherwise...
I find the pride they take in Paris Hilton very depressing.
I saw her on that reality show and she looked embalmed.
No wonder the casting directors aren't hiring Kyle these days. It's because she's on a reality tv show.
I heard somewhere Kyle was a cheerleader in high school. I don't think Kim ever went to school. She never had a hit show that would have made her as famous as say Kristy McNichol, but she was probably the main go to guest star for young girls in the 70's and early 80's.She was known for her long Cher type hair, which is something Kyle and Paris both imitate.
After seeing Kyle on Real Housewives (and Top Chef Desserts) she seems like a real asshole.
I've never seen Kim as a young adult as in R36's clip, just remember her as a kiddie. She was VERY pretty then.
Kim was Prudence on "Nanny & The Professor".
The sitcom was DOWN TO EARTH, R17, and Kyle played Lizzy. I used to love that show. The theme song was fun and catchy. I also remember Kyle in the film THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS with Miss Bette Davis.
I remember Kim getting shot in the chest in the original "Assault on Precinct 13."
OMG. That shit gave me nightmares as a kid.
I remember Kim Richards very well, I don't recall ever seeing Kyle.
Me too r41! I just saw this thread had been bumped and wanted to read if anyone mentioned that movie..I put it on the "scariest non-horror movies you saw as a kid" thread. I thought I was the only one traumatized by that.
the original "Assault on Precinct 13."
I never saw it.
Famous title & highly rated on IMDB.
Must get a copy.
I never saw the new one r45, much too traumatized by the first and I bet no kid gets it in the chest. There is a youtube clip of her getting shot with her ice cream cone, someone posted it for me on the "Most disturbing non-horror movie" thread, I don't know where it is, dammit!
Even though Kathy, their half sister, married well by catching Rick Hilton, I would think that at the time Kym married Marvin Davis's son, it was considered an equally good catch. And while some find Mauricio Umansky attractive, I doubt that 16 years ago when he married Kyle he was anywhere nearly as financially comfortable as he is today.
All in all the Richards women (as they say down south)made very nice marriages.
