A while back we saw that our friend Corey Spears happened to have a bunch of photos on Facebook with the actor Henry Cavill; We thought that was interesting, and kept that in mind as time went by. We then heard, from different reliable people here and there, that he was gay; publicly Henry denied this and said he just happened to have alot of gay friends, but you know the saying: where there''s smoke, there''s fire.\ \ After Henry was announced as the new Superman, we went on Corey''s page to see some of the old photos he''d posted of him and Henry, and they had ALL been removed. There used to be a ton of them, and now, not one. Don''t you think that''s a little coincidental? That all of the photos of Henry with a bunch of gay guys have totally been removed? we don''t know... we think there''s something to expose here. I do know that in this industry, that if a guy is relatively handsome and personable,regardless of sexuality, there will always be gay rumours no matter what. Hollywood has some excellent shrinks specialized on pivoting where actors learn to appreciate the benefits of their careers and ignore the bad stuff for the time being (= the shrink getting paid). Of course most of these Hollywood located shrinks report their findings to the studio execs, talent agency, managers, etc. (when they foot the bill or made the referral - which is why big stars hire shrinks outside Hollywood's tight grip to deal with their personal issues).

The McG story is apparently true and was written about in the book "Superman vs. Hollywood". He was fired after he failed to show up for a flight to Sydney with studio executives on a charter jet from LAX; they had arranged the special jet just for him, after he had refused an offer to fly a Qantas flight that Warner had offered to buy out every seat in first class. In the lead up to his dismissal he had actually gone so far as to prepare presentations for the Warner execs on why they should shoot the film in Canada or New York, but Australia was offering the best tax incentives so Warner insisted it be shot there; McGinty for his part did finally consent to it only to stand up the executives at the airport. While Warner was facing a court case over the rights issues (which they would eventually win), there was no particular incentive to sequelize or reboot Superman after the failure of Superman Returns until Nolan came onboard. He may not be directing it but it is his "brand"; he is the reason why the film looks the way it does (it looks like a Christopher Nolan film, not a Zak Snyder film); why it is being written by his Batman collaborator David Goyer; why Hans Zimmer is scoring it; and Nolan is also the reason why the fan support is so overwhelming.

Many heterosexual people are not necessarily photographed with their romantic partners walking beside them - that doesn't mean they are gay. Henry Cavill has consistently said he is straight and referred to being with women (as in the interviews linked above) and he was briefly engaged, even if it was a suspicious engagement. So I'm leaning towards gay, but need something a little bit more before I can reach a definitive conclusion.
