Hot photo of Beat Generation fucktoy Neal Cassady in the NYTimes this morning
I''ve linked to the same image... Cassady is on the right, and Timothy Leary is on the left. Jesus Christ, look at the size of Cassady''s arms!\
He was no stranger to the homosex, and fucked Ginsberg, Kerouac, Burroughs, and many others. The size of his penis was legendary.
OP, who is the audience for this post? I for one am not interested in who was buggerinng who in 1951.
Also, ''fucktoy''? You ask for the respect accorded to marrieds but use this language?
I''ve never heard of him until OP''s post but one thing I''ll say, in that photo he does seem to be packin''. Of course, if he''s still alive one would get food poisoning putting that old piece of meat in one''s mouth.
Go back to your Taylor Lautner threads, 2.\
Some people like historic sluts.\
That man''s cock triggered an entire cultural movement.\
Your sex icons trigger bowel movements.
R4, you are such trash.
You ask for the respect accorded to marrieds\
I ask for no such thing.
Cassady''s arms? I see very large BREASTS!
Justin Bieber''s music is SICK! What a hottie!
You''re either on the bus or you''re off the bus, R1.
Further, the real star of the photo.
Your sort certainly does,R6.
He looks like he''s never taken a shower.
Your sort certainly does,[R6].\
Gee, guess you''re wrong yet again.\
Try for a third time.
That man''s cock triggered an entire cultural movement\
Wait....was he patient zero?
With a melon like this, he better have been packing.
Ugly in 1931 (R17) and old-ugly in 1951. Why is this thread still here? It. Is. Terrible.
He was also married with children. I think his death was an accident. Joan''s death was not an accident.
He died when he was just shy of 42. Talk about ridden hard and put away wet.
Thanks for the picture because I haven''t seen that many of them. It seems his life was short but he packed alot into it.%0D\
I don''t think Jack K. fucked men. Am I wrong?
Sombody on this site has been trying to make old and ugly the new handsome for YEARS now and I just don''t think it''s going to take.
Didn''t NIck Nolte portray him a film?%0D\
Or was it John Heard?
Nick Nolte has played him, as has Thomas Jane and Tate Donovan.
OP is such a mess.
This man is disgusting.
Jack Kerouac was pretty handsome. Cassady''s wiki page said that he had sexual encounters with Allan Ginsberg. It goes on to say that Cassady, Ginsberg and Kerouac did road trips together. You do the math.%0D\
It seems like that whole group died young. Kerouac died at age 47, of cirrhosis of the liver.%0D\
They all just partied too hard.
Thomas Jane portrayed him in Last Time I Committed Suicide. Both films were good.
Burroughs was a junkie, most of his adult life and lived the longest. Booze is harder on you than heroin.%0D\
I don''t think Burroughs ever got tired of boys.
Thanks r19, but if we wanted to hear from a cunt we''d just ask Cheryl to queef.
Republicans have made history a dirty word. If you look at a history book, you might start getting ideas.
Many people loved Cassidy and he knew more about love and living then most of the dipships who post here, about their navel gazing.
He may have been a lovely person, R33, but attractive he was not.
Move along, R1 aka, I need to respond at least 8 times to something I say I''m not interested in. You are a bore.
Cassady married a 15 year old, was a career petty criminal, a bigamist and a deadbeat father. Sorry if that puts a dent in your idolatry.
I remember Ginsberg getting all out of sorts because he didn''t want "Bill''s ugly old wrinkled cock." It''s weird that he would talk about his friend that way. Ginsberg was always looking for some good looking boy to stick it too. I think that''s why he traveled around the country reading his poetry...always trying to get laid.
I think he was good looking and he had a great body. I don''t think there were too many pimply body builders, back in 1951.
He may have been a lovely person, R33, but attractive he was not.%0D\
Are you kidding? I''m in my 30''s right now, and I find him hot.%0D\
Trust me, a big dick and a rugged, masculine face with a nice body, go a long way with many gays.
R35, learn how to punctuatie the appositive. K, cunt?
Doesn''t bother me at all that he was a hedonist. His wife loved him and made money off his writing.
Ginsberg should talk. Fugly, overrated gimp.
"you are such trash."\
And you''re who, bitch, sitting in your lonely apartment, having done nothing for any part of any culture at all, except as a lazy suburban or fetid urban gay ghetto?\
Most of you''ve never even read any of the dozens of books this guy inspired, if only the CliffNotes versions at your community college night classes. \
Shut the fuck up.
r37 - when Ginsberg was in his 60s and Burroughs was in his 70s, they both hooked up with the ultra-twinkish 18-year-old Mark Ewert. He later became Dennis Cooper''s boyfriend, and Cooper (of all people) has this to say about Ginsberg: "I%E2%80%99d always thought Allen was something of a letch with the young male fans who flocked around him."
Didn''t Gus Van Sant also have a piece of Mark (now Marucs) Ewert?
OP is one of Datalounge''s fustiest old ladies: Davy Ernestine.
OK men, hold 1/2/5/10/13/15/19/26/34/40/46 down, while I administer 30 micrograms of Owsley''s finest.
Neil K, still on the bus
BDF for days.
"try again when you''re sober. Kisses!"\
Try again when you''re done with your romance "novels," cunt-certina.
Ooh I''ve certainly knocked ajar some eldergay hairpieces tonight.
No one cares if you''re bald. Or fat.
This is not going to end well.
Look at how "sassy" the troll is, repeating the same tired ghetto drag-queen phrases and putdowns that all such Datalounge "sassy" trolls use all the time. How witty. How enthralling. \
Wake me up, please, when we get to the inevitable "K, cunt?" remark.
Oops, wait... we already got there at r40.
I for one am not interested in who was buggerinng who in 1951.\
Sorry. It had to be said
R56, I usually hate the grammar and spelling trolls, but for a useless, dried up and lonely piece of santorum like R1/2/5/etc. trying to pretend he''s some young buck by trashing this sexy beast of a man and using "apositive" (which he also misspelled) thinking it would make him look smart...well, the fact that he is not only grammatically incorrect but a bad speller just fills my heart with cock(les)!
I am loving this thread!
When I think of all the dorks who read the Beat Stuff in the 50''s and 60''s, then never shaved or bathed again until they got tenure as full Professors of Sandals ... they would be apoplectic reading this thread.
I sense some of the posters in this thread have some issues.
Ginsburg was a member of [...]. He was also fucking an underage teen when he died - with the teen''s mother''s permission mind you.\
Jack Kerouac - he became a Republican & super catholic again before he died of alcoholism after eating a tuna fish sandwich.
I personally do not find Neal Cassady attractive. To each his own. That should offend no one. I am shocked that a man who looks so frightfully old died in his late 40''s. Oh, dear! The dear man must have lived a very hard life for the face to look about 20 years older than his age. Yet, I can almost hear someone with the same face on DL boasting "I''m in my 40''s but everyone thinks I''m 17".
Tut tut, R52, you''re bashing a cherished idol of the faux-literary queens. They''ll be comng to tell you how you don''t appreciate a real man soon enough.
"repeating the same tired ghetto drag-queen phrases and putdowns"\
This from the Varsity Troll (6 posts in this thread so far) who evoked the DL cliche of cliches, "Cheryl."\
You still haven''t admitted that you''ve never read any of the books from the Beat writers.\
You probably think ''Howl'' was a poem about a dog.
Isn''t there a new movie about Neal Cassady? Seems like I read that somewhere...(probably starring James Franco (haha)). Anybody know?
Thanks to this thread I will do some educational digging and read about these guys from the past.
There was a recent film about Ginsberg''s Howl called, "Howl" and James Franco does indeed play gay, again, making for a vastly more attractive Ginsberg than the real schlubb.
"You still haven''t admitted that you''ve never read any of the books from the Beat writers."\
Oh dear: a double negative.
Of course I''ve read them: ON THE ROAD, THE DHARMA BUMS, HOWL... try again
WHY are all these tired cornpone KAH-[italic] weeeeeeeeens [/italic] professing to take such umbrage to a perfectly benign thread such as this taking the time to post?%0D\
[italic] VAMOOSE!!!! [/italic]
Wow, now I know where all the Datalounge cuntiness comes from. It''s the GOLDEN AGE QUEENS!%0D\
You bitches are mean and nasty. I always thought you old grandmas were supposed to be nice and kindly?%0D\
Who knew that you old hags had forked tongues like vipers??
Careful, r70. Bitching about old queens was how us old queens started on our bitter, bitter road to old age.%0D\
If you''re lucky, you''ll die of a meth overdose before you accept what an old turd you''ve turned out to be.
R61, Allen GINSBERG died of liver cancer at the age of 70 (April 5, 1997). He was in no condition to be fucking an underage boy at the time. Ginsberg was also the greatest gay poet since Walt Whitman, which is more than I can say about some of the Dataloungers.
Dear god. It''s jesseboy. Hey qweeeen, been to any nude disco parties lately?
r72 Complete and utter hyperbole!
If you go back and read the memoirs etc of those beat fellows- and good bios, you''ll see the pics of Jack and Neal. Yes both were alcoholics, Jack died of it- and both were sex on a stick in their primes, which were short due to the hard lives they lead. Sexually they were way ahead of their times- although Jack descended into vitriolic bigotry in his late alcoholic decline.%0D\
Write them off if you want- or learn a bit about the evolution of 20th Century artistic thought, freedom, early bohemia and in general the great big world of human behavior. Their lives are both facinating and cautionary tales, as often is the case of those who live on the edge.
These guys really were the counterculture and their POV was taken up by beatniks in the 50''s and early 60''s. When the US was booming after WW II and everyone was moving to the suburbs, enjoying the new television machine and all kinds of new kitchen equipment, cars, etc, these guys were doing a lot of drugs, traveling the country having adventures and writing about it. Young people today should be reading Kerouac and Ginsberg like the generations before them. On the Road is a great place to start.
This thread is classic datalounge. I was having a bad day but thanks for making me forget that.
Laughing as I type
R72, Kerouac did not have liver cancer. He bled out as a result of esophogeal varices, which are caused by excessive drinking.
So Neal Cassady didn''t write anything? Why is he so iconic?
Cassidy did write a bit.\
R68; "reads book reviews like they was books."\
It''s not a double-negative, douche. The two negative decribe different things. \
Community college hasn''t helped much, has it?
On The Road? Kerouac? %0D\
That''s not writing. That''s typing.
I wonder if a big throbbing dick in the ass felt any better in the 30''s than it does today? We''ll have to ask cackle if he has had friends that elucidated on this massive matter. I have been saying kerouac involuntarily while in this delightfully compromised position for years. I, like everyone else thought I was just quacking like a happy lucky duck.
"Wow, now I know where all the Datalounge cuntiness comes from. It''s the GOLDEN AGE QUEENS!"\
Actually, it''s not the eldergays at all who made the thread so cunty; if you look, it was the one troll, r1/r2/r5/r10/r13/r15/r19/r26/r34/r40/r46 (whew!), who started frantically throwing his own shit around his personal monkey house right away in his first two posts, and then kept going on insane personal attacks as it proceeded just to get a response out of people. In fact, he positions himself as a youngster and attacks other people for being old.\
I never understand why someone like that just goes on a thread and goes absolutely apeshit like that with no real motivation. It''s so desperate and pathetic.
More like a happy stupid fuck.
Ginsberg and Burroughs were repulsive creepy looking men. \
One wonders how they ever got attractive men to fuck them! Was it their great literary minds? In Burroughs case, the Burroughs family fortune? I won''t even get into Burroughs voice, it was painful.
James Franco as Ginsberg? The howling power bottom poster queen for hairy fat? Great casting.
Why are we discussing the old?
More trolling, huh r88?
Because the obviously meth-addicted "twink" here wants to diss anyone who actually knows anything about the actual topic to cover up the fact that s/he doesn''t know anything about Beat culture or literature.\
Funny how a thread about the coolest daddio from the groovy cool cat-era could be so warped by bitter, angry, vindictive and secluded computer addicts.
Big Sur is the only readable book Kerouac wrote.
I love how Cassady was "rescued" at 15 by a prominent educator who was in the habit of rescuing boys so he could drink their cum.
The level of the average flyover education is pretty shocking as evidenced by some of the postings here.
r93 lives in Milwaukee.
Hey, don''t blame us for this bullshit.
R22, in Gore Vidal''s first memoir he claims to have fucked Kerouac. \
I don''t understand the hoopla about the Beat Generation. I was over them before I was out of college. It''s kind of fun to read when you''re young but most of it doesn''t hold up well. I find memoirs by people like Carolyn Cassady and Diane DiPrima more entertaining than the actual fiction or poetry that crowd produced.
How would getting it in the ass differ in 1930?%0D\
Well for one thing they did not have lube as we know it today. It must have been spit or lard. Maybe some of grandmas cold cream. %0D\
We are spoiled.
The rugged look isn''t to everyone''s taste, but I think Neal Cassady was hot and very obviously packing.
"The level of the average flyover education is pretty shocking as evidenced by some of the postings here."\
This is especially true given that "evidence" is not a proper verb.
college English professor
For a fun time, Trolldar R1. \
he died of alcoholism after eating a tuna fish sandwich.\
I''m sorry R61--what was in the sandwich besides Tuna? Gin?
Having Man sex back then would have been dangerous and exciting. They could have been arrested. %0D\
They were thrill seakers so it is no wonder they had lots of it.
in Gore Vidal''s first memoir he claims to have fucked Kerouac.%0D\
Please. Kerouac wouldn''t have looked twice at that pansy. Vidal''s memoirs contain more fiction than his novels.
HOW VERY DARE YOU, R103!!!!! GORE IS A GOD!!!!
YAY! A post from DE.\
Oh, wait, is that making fun of him and not him?
The real David Ehrenstein would have been authenticated. %0D
I know I shouldn''t be but I am astounded by the idiots trapped in the false beauty discourses that pervade our beautiful queer culture. Not only was Neil Cassady incredibly attractive but he was a fucking icon, and a real person. Yeah, go back to some pretty boy thread and lose yourselves in it. You don''t deserve anything else.
And Big Sur was written by Henry Miller.
The level of the average flyover education is pretty shocking as evidenced by some of the postings here.\
No kidding. "I had to google [sic] him"? Seriously? What are they teaching in high school English classes these days, shit like the "Twilight" trilogy? "On the Road," "Big Sur," "The Dharma Bums," "Howl and Other Poems" "Naked Lunch" and -- arguably most of all -- "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" should be required reading for any and every American adolescent and/or adult.\
Oh, and yes: Kerouac was a closeted queen who turned to drink and Republicanism late in life to bury his homoerotic lust, but not before he''d fucked Cassady, Ginsberg et al.
i wish I went to a school that taught "Naked Lunch" as part of the curriculum.
R93 is pretty much what I was getting at in my R59.
Well for one thing they did not have lube as we know it today. It must have been spit or lard. Maybe some of grandmas cold cream. \
Most people used Vaseline, but those in the know used K-Y.
No, it wasn''t, nitwit/r108. Henry Miller just lived in Big Sur. Kerouac wrote the novel Big Sur.
Yes, it was, 117.\
Everything on the Interwebs is TROOOO!
Jesus H. Christ. Really.
Late to the thread, but R1/R2/R5/R10/R13/R15/R19/R26/R34/R40/R46 provided an entertaining display of the worst of DL drool puddling. \
"You ask for the respect accorded to marrieds but use this language?" may be the single most offensive thing I''ve ever read on the site. I''ll take cunting fucktoy baby murder jokes over such casually vile homophobic insanity any day. Perhaps she''ll OD soon and that will be that.
Kerouac and Cassady never slept together, according to Ginsberg--who enjoyed both of them individually. Ginsberg blew Jack on a few occasions. Ginsberg and Cassady, on the other hand, had a full-fledged affair.
Kerouac's 'Visions of Cody' includes a transcription of a taped conversation between Jack & Neal, and one of them gets a boner and says something like "Pardon my hard-on." (Been way too many years since I've read it--and I don't currently have a copy--so forgive me if the details are fuzzy). Also included in that book was the scene (originally excised from 'On the Road') of Neal (Cody/Dean) fucking some blonde twink in a gas station bathroom, with Jack claiming to be repulsed by the sight.
The Kerouac/Gore Vidal incident was supposedly true. They took a shower together at the Chelsea Hotel. The hook-up was disappointing. In his memoir, Vidal claimed it was because they were both tops. Separate from Vidal's account, witnesses attested to a very sloshed JK publicly proclaiming, "I BLEW GORE VIDAL!"
In general, Jack seemed to be pretty closeted and fucked up, but during a late career interview, when asked about about sex with men he did acknowledge a preference of activities, "Blowjobs, yes. Assholes, no."
In case anybody is interested in a quick read, I have attached a link to a pdf of On the Road.
Vidal always made a point to insist he was the top in that encounter with Kerouac. There''s a detailed account floating about the net.
Hello Guys! I just ran across your thread when I input Neal Cassady penis in the google search engine. I happen to be the lucky heir to some naked pics of Neal. Let me tell you...these pictures answer ALL my questions. He is HUGE and HOT!! Will be unveiling photos again soon.
