LIAR LIAR LIAR! The Dishonesty of Celebrities

Reading the John Leguizamo thread I saw how he has always claimed to be half Puerto Rican. However, his father said this month it isn't true, that he is completely Colombian, and that he has been trying for years to get his son to quit lying about his heritage. John's Wikipedia entry quickly changed after the publicity and it says he won't have his Puerto Rican Day Parade Ambassadorship revoked (which he got because he has always prided himself for being such a loyal son of the island), but his imdb bio is still the same. Apparently he's made up all kinds of versions of his parentage to get the P.R. in and the Colombian out. I also read how Terrence Howard claims to be an engineer, although he never finished college. It seems that, apart from the perhaps understandable PR lies of covering up scandals or lying about their ages or plastic surgery, many celebrities simply make things up, as if no one will ever catch them. Even Dan Savage has cut five years off his age multiple times. What are your favorite celebrity claims that turned out to be fake, phony, and outright lies?
