To avoid any problems, medications should be taken with water. No milk, no juice, just water!
Move over, bacon -- there''s something leaner!
I don''t understand WHY you can''t take Zyrtec with fruit juice, wtf could possibly be wrong with that?
Mother, PLEASE! I''d rather do it myself!
No, I don''t know you can''t take Zyrtec with fruit juice because you CAN take it with fruit juice.\
\
It''s orange juice and Allegra that don''t mix. Although orange, grapefruit, and apple juice should be avoided since it hinders absorption of the medication.\
\
Cranberry juice is a blood thinner, btw. Watch that with anticoagulants or if you need to visit the Menstrual Hut.
I take it with big glass of goat''s urine.
The guy in that ad is sort of hot, but that woman with him is a big-time BEE-YOTCH!
OP, I''ve been on Zyrtec for close to a decade, and after I down my morning pills I almost always drink 8 oz. of orange juice to swallow my fish oil and vitamin pills, and I have never had any problem whatsoever with it.
R9, you gonna die.
"I got too much to do, to die!"
Phyllis
The commercial is about Allegra, not Zyrtec. Get your facts straight, OP.
No, it was definitely a Zyrtec commercial.\

It is a Zyrtec commercial that points out that you can''t take Allegra with fruit juice, but you can take Zyrtec.
Get the facts! You''re in for a sweet surprise.
No, DEFINITELY I saw the Zyrtec packaging in the commercial. R14 doesn''t know what she''s talking about.
Sigh. It''s a zyrtec commercial but the line about not taking it with fruit juice refers to allegra, not zyrtec. Are we--to appropriate some scientology lingo--clear?
Why are they advertising for Allegra if it''s a Zyrtec commercial?
Why are they advertising fruit juice?
The blond guy is also in that dopey MGD64 commercial set at a wedding. Anyone know who that guy is? He''s like a younger Aaron Eckhart.
And Fresca isn''t diet either. %0D\

So there.
DL old timer
R19, I was really wondering if those were the same guy. In the Miller commercial I think he is so frickin handsome. I tried googling him up, but couldn''t find anything. Hopefully someone else knows something.%0D
I ♥ R20!%0D\

What is Fresca if it isn''t diet? I thought it had no sugar or calories.
SHUT THE FUCK UP, R23!
How do they get the calories out of it and where do they put them afterward? And what do they look like separated from the food/beverage? Just dust?
Awww thanks, r22.%0D\

And you too r24, you made me laugh really hard.%0D\

Oh my god, I loved that Fresca thread... memories!%0D
It''s a commercial for ZYRTEC. They are saying Allegra is BAD because you can''t take it with orange juice. And that Zyrtec is GOOD because you CAN take it with orange juice.\
\
That said, generally speaking you don''t want to take any medication with any citrus juice, it inhibits absorption. Of ANY medication. Just stick with water or milk.
No one should be drinking milk at all. Except infants. Who aren''t lactose intolerant and whose mothers aren''t drunk.
Can we have a thread about your favorite brands of hot sauce. I want to buy some, but I don''t know what''s good.
"Zyrtec was the highest-grossing new non-food product of 2008 in the US, generating sales of $315.9 million."
Wikipedia
What about cum?
But Zyrtec is a food. You eat it and digest it. And I''m sure it''s been around longer than 2008.
I think it first went over the counter in 2008.
the guy is sexy
That guy was in General Hospital Night Shift 2 on SoapNet, his name is Adam Grimes
I down it with a cup of hot FLAVAH!
Miss Bacall for HIghpoint Instant Coffee

Which guy? There''s more than one guy in the commercial.
if you go deep in the clinical literature you find it says take zyrtec with 8 oz of water.\
i started doing that this hay fever season 2011 and it improved the results of zyrtec enormously
rhw
Drink your juice, Shelby.
...but not with Zyrtec.
Actually I tried Allegra recently and I''m not all that impressed with it. I have just two pills left so I''ll be going back to the generic Claritin. And NO I was NOT drinking it with fruit juice.
I genuinely know of someone (a colleague''s wife) who died from a reaction after taking an allergy pill with her morning glass of grapefruit juice.
I see a bunch of idiots pretty up post on here give people dumb answers.what's going on in the world when people can't even interpret a TV commercial that is clearly stated. If you can't give a clear answer then don't put up a post.
