HOMEFRONT was when I became a fan of the very talented and adorable Kyle Chandler, r6. What a great show and a great character he played. I would by those DVDs immediately if they ever make them.

Would buy those dvds in a heartbeat too, R8! So much crap is put out on dvd -- why not a great show like "Homefront"??

Homefront was a great show, and it ended much too soon.

Agree on the HOMEFRONT love. There were a lot of hot guys on that show. It's also where I first saw Kelly Rutherford. It was cancelled way too soon and I wish it was available on DVD.

My brother who is so heterosexual it hurts is obsessed with Kyle/Eric Taylor. I think he has that effect on everyone. Connie does as well. There are very few shows (My So-Called Life, Freaks and Geeks and The Wire come to mind) that create a world that is so vibrant and real you actually mourn when they end. I still find myself sometimes wondering what would Coach Taylor do in a particular situation. I know what I would do with Coach Taylor but that's another story.

Soon to be seen in ZERO DARK THIRTY, a feature film directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Not all TV stars can cross-over to films.

He should have a bigger career. He's a good actor and great looking. Living in Austin probably hasn't helped though he could try to hook up with some of the indie filmmakers living there and do some interesting, edgy indies.

Wrong R40, Kyle Chandler pledged Sigma Nu (my fraternity) at UGA a few years after I graduated. The brothers I've talked to said he was really well liked. He was from a small town, like Loganville, maybe. For some reason, he de-pledged or de-activated before graduation. The Greek world and the Theater world are both pretty all-consuming and don't generally co-exist very well. But Kyle Chandler, by all accounts, a really decent guy.

Since this is an old thread, I started reading R32 and thought I may have posted the above in 2012. When I got to the married part, I realized that 32 was writing about a different Theta Chi than the one who got in my bed on Friday after he dropped off his girl. My Theta Chi hunk married a different girl that he met after college.

He was shirtless on the opoening episode of "Homefront." It didn't happen again until one of the last episodes of the run.
