He was hawking some woman''s cluster dinner ring and the fool sat their there and put the ring on his own finger and modeled it for the camera. I thought "this queen is out of control". • Tonight I was watching a computer hour on QVC. It wasn''t so much the daily special that had my attention, but rather the Dell guy that was there demonstrating it. • It's always so weird when someone pops up on TV that you've seen before or knew from somewhere else. Kerstin Lindquist was a weather forecaster here in San Diego for several years. I hadn't even noticed that she wasn't on the air anymore. Then last weekend I stopped on QVC for a second while channel surfing and wondered why the host seemed kind of familiar. It wasn't until she said her name that I fully made the connection because she looks just a little bit different than when in front of the green screen. She's very nice and I think she's actually better on QVC than she was on the local news.

• Just realized that QVC fired Jonathan Redford (who I think is gay even though he married one of the QVC models) in October. He wasn't outstanding but I thought he was a decent host so I wonder why he got the pink slip. His HSN equivalent is probably Brett Chukerman (similar age, similar resume, similar sexuality) who I think is much worse as a host than Jonathan was. I wonder if his position is in jeopardy at all.

I have been watching this channel off and on since before it becamse QVC and I also use to really like Kathy Levine.
