So then, indie queens, what''s the verdict?\
\
I''m liking it so far. Lotus Flower is exceptional of course, and it''s nice to have a proper album to listen to that''s obviously a grower like all good albums are.\

How many times can I listen to it today I wonder?
ayb
Didn''t they begin to start taking themselves way too seriously a long time ago?
Wow this is pretty small compared to the threads from the last album release.
I think it requires a few listens. I''m not sure if it''s brilliant or self-indulgent or both.
Give Up The Ghost is amazing.
i fucking adore this album
I LOVE IT SO MUCH I USE IT AS A DILDO!!!!
My favorite album of the year.
it's awesome music to just chill to.
Eeesh, it's awful.
These guys are just phoning it in.
Hated their previous album. Hoping this is better.
I like it, but Codex is the only song that really grabs me.
They stunk up the SNL stage this past weekend. Time to call it a day, like REM.
Self indulgent (and not in a good way) crap. In 10 years or so their post-Bends albums will be recognized for what they are: the 21st century version of "Metal Machine Music".
God is that guy UGLY! And cannot sing to save his soul. Crappy, always hated them. Same with White Stripes, awful songs. Just because they make loud noise and look creepy doesn't make 'em talented. The whole indie scene is full of pretentious bores like those two bands.
They've always been self-indulgent, but they're also really, really talented. They were great on the Colbert Report -- three songs, and he added on an extra half-hour to accommodate them. I can't wait to get this album.
What makes them "really, really talented"? Is it because all the critics and hipster victims tell you they are? It all depends on why you listen to music. I like to escape from my boring depressing life and like something upbeat and fast that makes me feel like dancing, singing (I like melodies, don't really care about lyrics) or cleaning (boring, I know). If you like to wallow in your room to whiny, dirgey melodies and beats, I guess you would like Radiohead.
I used to not get the obsession but now after hearing The King of Limbs I suddenly get it. Not sure what changed. It's just hypnotic.
Thru haven't been good since Amnesiac. Thom Yorke has become insufferable in his middle age.
Anybody go see them perform at the "Wall Street" rally today?
I fucking hate that I'm out of the city, because it would have been AWESOME for 2 reasons- the banks are parasites, and Radiohead RAWKS!
