OP EATS shit.\
Louganis looks great. He looks better then most men his age.
Agree, R2, he looks damn good.
Yes he does r2.
He''s swimming in that jacket.
For a 51 year old man with HIV he looks really good. %0D\
My brother was the same age as Louganis, but he died of HIV/AIDS 20 years ago. I watched my brother suffocate to death from pneumonia. I can assure you, dead really does look like shit. %0D\
Louganis,on the other hand, looks like a handsome old guy. He is very, very fortunate.
No he doesn''t OP. He looks great.%0D\
And Lambert looks hot.
Don Johnson called, he wants his Miami Vice outfit back.
He looks wonderful.
OP, post your own current pic for comparison.\
We''ll be the judge of what shit looks like.
I think he looks absolutely delicious!
Fuck OP, I''d like to see how you look after living with AIDS for 25 years.
I remember drooling over pics like this in my youth. The man was smokin'' when he was young, and he looks refined and dignified today. Very handsome for his age - we should all be so fortunate.
Is he still with Steve Kmetko? Or some other topdaddy?
He looks old, OP. Doesn''t mean he looks "like shit". It might be wise of him to get rid of the little white goatee that screams "professional magician". Other than that he looks fine.
He has AIDS? I never heard that.
No, he and Kmetko broke up years ago. I believe it was the guy before Kmetko who beat the shit out of him on a regular basis & raped him at least once (I think he was his trainer or some such thing).\
I love the silver hair, I love the goatee, I love the tan. The purple blazer might not be my personal style but hey, he''s a celebrity, he can dress any damn way he likes. It doesn''t matter what anyone else thinks.
Sorry, OP, I think he looks great, too. He''s such a sweet guy, and it shines through in his physical appearance.
I think he look''s great, too!
Leave him alone, OP. He''s living his life and not bothering you.
" I believe it was the guy before Kmetko who beat the shit out of him on a regular basis & raped him at least once (I think he was his trainer or some such thing)."\
I don''t believe much of his narrative. He waited until after his ex died, then blamed him for all kinds of things. He claimed that the guy "gave" him AIDS, and tried to play the "innocent victim" card. It wasn''t fair to his ex- the guy was dead and couldn''t defend himself. It was pretty sleazy of Louganis, and I didn''t believe for a second that he wasn''t having unprotected sex.
He looks pretty good to me for a fifty year old man whose been POZ for two decades.
Really, OP? You think he looks like shit? Okay, then, what''s your idea of attractive? \
I think Louganis looks fantastic. With the exception of the Miami Vice-style apparel, as mentioned before.
"It wasn''t fair to his ex - the guy was dead and couldn''t defend himself."%0D\
Life isn''t fair, and maybe the ex really was a mendacious creep. We don''t really know, one way or the other.
It wasn''t fair to the ex? Are you suggesting that Louganis physically abused HIMSELF? Or that he made up the whole story? If so, why? Isn''t it bad enough that he has a terminal illness -- he has to make up a story about being abused, too??? Please! That defies logic.
R31, you can''t possibly be that naive. Of course he made it up. He came out after a lifetime of closeted self-loathing, and he didn''t want his fame tarnished. So he made up a story about his ex cheating on him, getting AIDS, then raping him. It''s bullshit. If it were true, he would''ve told the story while the other man could still defend himself. He was horribly physically abused, yet never required medical care or called the police. Uh huh. He''s a liar.
"If it were true, he would''ve told the story while the other man could still defend himself."%0D\
Why? There is no logical basis whatsoever for this statement''s truth... Not everyone lives by some bizarre code of fearless reciprocity.
r32 - Do you truly think that most abuse victims have the psychological strength to confront their abusers face-to-face? Wouldn''t you think they''d be terrified that they''d be beaten again?\
Many abuse victims -- especially rich ones who don''t need to show up for a 9-5 job every day -- don''t need to go out in public with their bruises. And celebrities rarely show up at the local emergency room for treatment -- paparazzi, gossipy nurses, etc.''\
Sorry, but it seems pretty plausible to me.
I eat shit and rim old crack whores.
The facial hair is awful but he looks fine.
Way too much gray. He looks about 68.
I have his book. He doesn''t claim the abusive ex gave him AIDS, and he certainly doesn''t claim he became infected through being raped. He said they both had unprotected sex with others so there was no way to know where/when either of them got it. The chapters that covered their abusive relationship rang absolutely true to me. Not just the physical stuff but the psychological abuse, and especially when read in the context of the rest of his life and his childhood experiences.
Louganis, Magic Johnson, do people die from HIV/AIDS anymore?
No, they eventually keel over from the side effects of the drugs. Usually it is the liver that goes.
r39, not if you have money.%0D\
Louganis was my childhood wet dream at one point, and I wouldn''t pass him up today. He is gorgeous. Love his feet, btw.%0D\
In his youth, he looked like a human Mario Lopez.
I always thought he had the perfect body. He even has nice looking hands.
"If it were true, he would''ve told the story while the other man could still defend himself."%0D\
So you don''t believe me?%0D
Miss Crawfords daughter
R33/34/35= same fame whore.
Listen dear, there's not a single shred of proof that Louganis was ever abused by anyone. Not a single police report, eye witness, or even one single other person who can substantiate his claims. He wanted to play "innocent AIDS victim" so he made up that bullshit about how his evil poz lover raped him and infected him with HIV /AIDS. It's a terrible thing to have done, as it completely perpetuates the stereotype about evil HIV infected people forcing their disease upon innocent victims. I don't believe for one second that Louganis wasn't out tricking while he was closeted, or that he never engaged in unprotected sex. He was perfectly willing to play on people's worse prejudices about gay men with HIV so that his image wouldn't be tarnished. He's despicable. Frankly, so are you. All this bullshit you're peddling is offensive to people who were actually survivors of rape and physical abuse, many of whom went to the authorities to stop their perpetrator from harming others. Loganis waited until his partner was dead because he was LYING. He never even wanted to come out...he still complains publicly about having been outed, and how horrible it was for him. He's a coward and a liar.
Re: When Louganis got AIDS - I know when he was a student at UC Irvine (theatre/dance major) he had a big affair with another T/D major who later died of AIDS. %0D\
Looks great and just what is wrong with silver grey hair?%0D\
The OP is conspicuously absent- was probably just looking for a response, and got one.
He looks good. But that facial fur isn''t doing him any favors.
Still here, R46, and I think he would look much better without facial hair.
R44 = somebody Louganis snubbed sexually.%0D\
Ease up, doll, we''ve all experienced rejection at some point.
[quote]He wanted to play "innocent AIDS victim" so he made up that bullshit about how his evil poz lover raped him and infected him with HIV /AIDS.\
No, actually you made that up.
r44 how can you post and be dead?
Looks like Liberace''s Lebanese nephew.
There''s not a single shred of proof that R44 isn''t batshit crazy.
Speaking of Kmetko, whatever happened to him?
The autobio is an interesting read. He comes across as very empotionally damaged, bouncing from abusive relationship (father) to abusive relationship (lover/business manager). He seems like a well meaning, hardworking guy who cares a lot about people and his beloved dogs. I hope he''s happy.%0D\
Having said that, a man that beautiful should NOT have facial hair.
I eat shit
[quote]No, they eventually keel over from the side effects of the drugs. Usually it is the liver that goes.%0D\
There are still some people who don''t respond to cocktails and some opportunistic diseases that beat the drugs.%0D\
My friend''s HIV-linked rare brain tumor
I love how r44 completely ignores my post at r38 proving he''s full of shit. You''ve obviously never even read he''s book, since he explicitly says the exact opposite of what you''re claiming. Psycho.
I had dinner with Greg Louganis last night and breakfast with him tomorrow and believe me he looks great and he's in perfect health for a man with HIV. He's working, and off to London for the Olympics tomorrow night from Hong Kong. This guy is absolutely amazing.
My all-time favorite Olympian. What a beautiful diver he was.
He's not in perfect health if he has HIV.
He looks great and so does Sara.
He looks like a million bucks! I'd eat him alive!
You must be so jealous of his good looks. He is gorgeous ever ! You are the one look "shit " ..... Take a look at your ugly face once again.
I was "straight" when he was younger and thought he was HOTT HOTT HOTT!
Kmetko .............anyone ??? He was gorgeous when he was young. Had a great deep voice. Please don't tell me his blonde hair has gone silver. Age sucks.
Kmetko left TV many years ago to teach Communications at his alma mater--can't recall where exactly, but somewhere in the midwest.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
