I think gay people need to stop claiming these people as "confused gays." As they state, this is some sort of birth defect, either biological, mental, or a combination. It has nothing more to do with being gay than it does with being straight, and homosexuality should not be further pathologized by being identified with a condition that the people coping with it themselves identify as a problem that needs to be corrected.
