Ted Haggard and his family

Yes, I know, I know, he refuses to acknowledge that he''s gay and is obviously in deep religion-driven denial. I''m watching a documentary about his downfall and his rise, and how his family reacted. I have to say that his family seems really great and have stood by him at the worst moment of his life, and their lives. The kids seem very open minded, and a couple of the kinda-cute sons actually ping. Would the family be as supportive if he did come out and say he''s gay? Who knows? But they could easily have bailed on him after he brought them shame and caused them to lose their church and friends. %0D\ %0D\ He''s obviously still a very troubled guy, but the family doesn''t come off as anywhere near the judgmental fundies you''d expect, given the world in which they were raised. JMO. Maybe my view is somewhat subjective, given that I''m gay and from a similarly religious environment. I know how difficult it is to deal with one''s homosexuality amid that type of environment.
