She squicks me out. Most awkward commercial EVAH!

• It is very strange and disconcerting for reasons I can''t quite articulate.

• That commercial IS awkward! I can''t put my finger on it, but every single time it comes on, I have to watch and I don''t know why!!! I don''t know if I think its cute or if she is creepy.

• It is not cute. It is creepy.

• Nowhere near as atrociously disgusting as the new Luvs diapers "Poop! There it is!" commercial. You know all the Mommies at the local coffeeshop think it''s hilarious.

• In the end... any publicity is good publicity in show business, so as long as people write anything about this little girl, she is going to succeed. I think, based on this commercial, she has a very long future in front of her, especially if she can act. I guess time will tell, but keep up with the comments and you will make it happen. • I think her dance moves are pretty impressive, but at the same time I get annoyed with the commercial for some reason. Maybe because she does look like she is wearing a black wig (but maybe she was playing dress up?)I don''t think she was taking any "direction" from anyone, I think people probably sent home videos into PediaCare for some contest. • Listening to music on an mp3 player with headphones always suggests the music you are listening to is your personal taste. It''s your playlist. It''s odd to see a young girl with that tune playing as if it''s her musical taste. If she were dancing around the family room to the same song without the headphones, maybe playing on the radio, I don''t think I''d have the same reaction.

• The last two comments are very funny and without thought. With very little due diligence, and I mean very little, you would have found out that this was done by a well known director that also directed the ETrade baby commercials. You would also know that this was filmed on a set in NJ and that is was not an amateur video sent in. Being thorough did not take too much time or work. I seriously doubt that she is wearing a wig, but that was also a funny and ridiculous thought.\ \ Also, the music played was most likely not the music she was listening to because the client, Pediacare, wouldn''t want to pay the royalties on a song as opposed to a beat track, which is what they used. No other royalties are involved. Learn a little bit about how commercials are made and do some research... could be eye opening and informative.

• Obviously, you don''t know how they are made because you are harping on music that was chosen by the director to save money and match her dance moves. Clients, these days, don''t see the point in spending extra money on royalties so they use a beat track. The kids are encouraged to bring music to the sets that they like to dance to and that motivates them and then the other track is dubbed in.

• The problem with the commercial is that it in no way presents a sick little girl who's feeling better. It's a rehearsed, precocious little pageant kid, fully dressed (if she was sick she's be in PJs) dancing around in way too self-aware a manner, complete with Paris Hilton duckface. ITA, creepy, creepy, TOTALLY missed the mark.

• Let me try again to convince those naive people who believe there is nothing wrong with this commericial to reconsider. Do you not understand it's not what you think but what others may think. Think about this as the least common demoninator...eventhough you just see a cute little girl dancing, do you not understand there are sexual predators out there who would have preverted thoughts when watching this commericial?
