WEHT Famousmales?

Does anyone from the UK or who frequents the Famousmales website [Famousmales(dot)uk(dot)net] know what happened? It appeared to have been down for the past couple of days and went I went to it today, I was redirected to someplace called digitalgangster dot com. Did Famousmales go under?

If you''re looking for something that has a country code it us always the top level domain - that is to say, the last thing in the address. You''re dyslexing it up.

• There are a few websites using the name Famousmales, but the one which is apparently down is famousmales.uk.net\ \ There had been messages for January 2011 but they seemed to be deleted. If you try to log in, it takes you to a page which tells you to install software which presumably is for web-hosting. I''ve discovered that if you click on the lo-res version, you can still view the posts but you can''t post anything.

• Yes, I gave them money and when I asked for a refund I got banned from the site. STEER WELL CLEAR!! Their moderator Marc is a nasty piece of work!!!

• There was something seriously wrong at the famousmales.uk.net site. I donated money to the site on the promise of more nude celeb shoots and even the possibility of one lucky donator attending to watch a shoot. After a while none of that happened and when I messaged the site owner about it I was told that more shoots would be on the way and that I should just keep quiet. After months and months of being patient with the site it then just goes offline with no new photoshoots or any mention about what happened to the money myself and others donated. Seems suspicious to me that the moderator asks for donations promising loads more nude celeb shoots and then after he receives the money the site seizes up and then goes off line....I'm sad to be ranting about this site when i loved it so much to start with but I feel I was conned out of money by it's moderator. Anyone else been stung by the famousmales.uk.net site?

• Its such a shame the site has gone - it was gen a good fun group of posters and had some great threads. I too donated, but so what - it was the price of a few drinks and I think the moderator only raised a few grand if even that from it - hardly big time theft! Hope it pops up again some day.
