• I did watch the profile of DeCoteau, which is currently showing on Here!TV OnDemand. He actually has over 70 credits as a director, starting with the campy Roger Korman-type horror films. He talks about making "quality" (for the money allotted to it, and the ridiculously short shooting schedule allowed) films. I remember him saying, on the commentary track on one of his films, that he often buys leftover film stock from other movie makers, to keep costs low. In the Here profile, he talks a lot about his first gay film, Leather Jacket Love Story, and some of the inexperienced actors he had cast who later made it big in films or TV (He didn''t mention Cory from Glee, for some reason).
