When I was coming up, sexuality was thought of as binary, and there was a very important distinction between gay and straight. Today, we understand that sexuality is a continuum, and I find it's much easier to understand how guys who identify as straight, which is a societal concept, can enjoy sex with another guy without saying they're gay.

They have to first admit to themselves that they have a certain amount of attraction to men, before they can admit it to others.
